If you’re in Takapuna and searching for a delicious meal, make your life easier and head straight to Joe’s Eatery. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is very nice, and incredibly accommodating. On that last point, Joe’s is a refreshing standout for Auckland: They are ready, willing and able to make you almost any dish you desire- and of course they’ll adjust their regular menu offerings. Everything ordered for our table was delicious. And we got to sit outside with all the sunshine!

Wonderful atmosphere with staff that seemed to really care. Best coffee art I’ve seen for a while and fast service for the quality of food gotten. Really feels like a local cafe with regulars who come back for all the right reasons. Me and a friend were looking for breakfast while staying in the city and this was absolutely the right choice for us!

5 of us went here for early Mother's Day lunch. The booking was easy to make and they do suggest, as they are a small cafe to make your food and drink order as you make your booking. The menu is small but flexible. You can make up your own platter and pasta is made to order. The food was excellent! The service was beyond expectation. Well done Joe's Eatery, we'll be back!

An amazing spot to grab a bite, relax and have a checky drink. Joe is friendly, personable and very clearly loves his establishment. Gave me a recommendation on how to eat the dish I ordered and OMG it was amazing. The coffee here is definitely the best in takapuna. Joe has an extensive liquor collection that he's very knowledgeable about. Had a beautiful citrus gin and lemon soda tonic and can't wait to go back and try more. If you're in takapuna, you must give this place a try!

I don't just go to a cafe for great coffee, I go for a wonderful experience. Joe's Eatery in my opinion ticks all the boxes. A place away from home, to belong. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere and attentive staff. A visit to Joe's Eatery is a must if you are ever around Takapuna. You won't regret it, detail and service is key, and Joe executes this superbly. Joe and his team will ensure that you won't just have great coffee and food but a memorable experience also.

I had a really pleasant experience with my partner at Joe's Eatery. The staff here are so nice and welcoming. I got the $18.00 chicken sandwich and my partner got the $18.00 Creamy Mushrooms. We also got a side of Polenta fries which was a bit pricey but well worth the price. The food was fantastic and was served to us in a short time. They also serve Irish coffees here which is not easy to come by. I highly recommend getting this if you need a fresh kick to your day. All and all, a really nice experience here and would definitely checking this place out for breakfast/brunch.
