Huxtaburger

Was very disappointed in the meal. The lady serving attitude wasn't good for someone who is supposed to be greeting customers I got the theo, small fries and strawberry shake. I think everything about the burger was way overcooked The buns were left on the grill way too long, so biting into it was harder than it should be. The buns should only be toasted so it doesnt get soggy, not so its crunchy hard The bacon was rock hard, like not burnt, but dry and didn't have any saltiness The two patties seem like they weren't seasoned at all, it just tasted like meat. Overall I didn't like the burger not because it tasted bad, but because it had no flavour profile or delicious taste, that the good burgers have The shake was even more disappointing, I was expecting a strawberry milkshake of strawberries (real/syrup), ice cream and milk. The shake here tasted like I was just drinking strawberry puree that was just thawed. I thought it was a joke they gave me a straw to use, when you couldn't even drink out of it since the shake was so thick. I had to drink the shake like i was drinking a cup of water The fries were the only saving grace, they were crunchy, but they reminded me of the chips you get from Strathfield train station, where they keep repeatedly deep frying old chips that never got sold just so you don't throw them away. I don't have a problem eating chips like that, but I'd expect better from a burger chain that has multiple stores You're best off trying other burger joints around Redfern which is much better. I wish i enjoyed it more

Overall very good burgers and fries. The only issue I had was the wait time; when I ordered online it said it be ready by 12:54pm but was still waiting for another 12 mins before it was done. Their website was easy to order and allows you to customise, which is awesome. Burgers were excellent and well portioned. The store has a great vibe to it.
