Amazing experience - food was unreal (highly recommend pre-ordering the lobster with xo noodles). Wagyu was perfectly done with delicious flavours - one of the best steaks I've had. Lotus cheeseburger is just the thing of legends and a must try - the perfect cheeseburger. Service was 10/10 - attentive and fun. Cannot fault the experience - can't wait to go back before the pop up ends in December.

Why is lotus leaving us 😭😭😭.
Honestly one of the best of merivale. Service exceptional. Space is unpretentious and perfect for a neighbourhood bistro. The price is totally scaleable. That cheeseburger and bugs better pop up at another merivale ASAP.

We had a really delicious lunch at Lotus. Definite stand-out dish was their Scarlet Prawns with hand-made noodles. Only small critique I have is that the kitchen dropped our entire order on our small table in one go, rather than spacing the dishes out. As a result it was hard to enjoy the individual flavours of each dish, and unfortunately the food went cold.

Great place, impeccable service, super nice ambience. Lotus has a nice little back bar behind the restaurant. Highly recommend the anchovies, tartare, cheeseburger and scarlet prawn noodles!

Loved the crispy prawn toast and the prawn noodle dish! Ended up dipping the fries into the leftover sauce from the bugs dish for a crunchy + buttery delight!

Beautiful little restaurant and a great meal. Really interesting flavour combinations and great wine.
Highly recommend the calamari, anchovies, cheeseburger (wow), tomato salad and bugs. We had the scarlet prawn noodles also but I personally found them too salty. I wouldn’t go back for the cheese toastie.
There is an awesome little bar area at the back with DJ which I want to try out next time.
