Guilty

Service was hugely off and not busy either. My burger came out first and was partly cold. I finished it and my pint of beer before the next person in our group got his food. He has halfway done when the last 2 burgers came. People that arrived after us where eating before this? Cold burger and a bit bland and tasteless. Meat was cooked perfectly and pink but not that tasty. Sad. Had seen high ratings on The Burger Collective.

I've tried the burger and the Mac n cheese with the hot dog. Such creative way to serve and the best, they wrap the burger so you keep enjoying all the layers of the sandwich every bite. Ah, I could not forget the staff, kind and helped me to chose my beer between all that good ones. First class Cocktails.

ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS IVE EVER HAD!!! I like to consider my self a bit of a burger connoisseur, eating at all the popular Sydney burger joints, so when a friend told me one of the best burgers he ever had was from this place, I told him he didn't know what he was talking about. After being persuaded to go down I had to bite my toungue, the burger had the hands down best damn fried chicken I have ever had! Amazing sauce topped with juicy bacon and a bun I could only describe as heaven! Amazing craft beers and cocktails too! This is a must try kinda place!

A few days ago a beautiful sunny winter Thursday afternoon, I thought of Guilty Burgers as I remember the sunny courtyard in Republic 2, a great place to get some winter sun. My partner and I arrived at Guilty at 1:15pm, there were only two other single diners sitting on a long table each in sunlight. The only staff working there today was a chunky built Asian, standing beside the long bar counter folding arms chatting immensely to an older guy sitting on a rattan chair, both facing the courtyard. Obviously, it hasn't been busy for him. We walked up to the bar counter, the staff countinued with his chatting. Didn't bother to greet us, or offer his help. We saw a menu on the counter, picked it up an read the menu. This is out first visit to Guilty and did not know the arrangement for ordering. After a good five minutes. We have decided what we wanted. We looked up. The staff was still chatting, he did not even throw his eye sight our way. My partner said to me. Let's go. It's not busy and the staff didn't even care. I don't think it's going to be any good here. So we left and walked up to Oxford Street to Burgers Anonymous. It's our last visit too and obviously will never come back. However good your food is.

Review: 4*! Drinks/Food: A good selection on hand (10 on tap) & food is available until midnight on a Saturday night! Staff: Pretty relaxed & chill. Atmosphere: Felt like an American side alley bar. Music was awesome. Decor: Was pretty basic with bubbles in their wallpaper, not neat paint job on ceilings etc. Marble with a slight corner edge chip, chairs were basic & steel beams surrounding the bar. Definitely an Industrial Style Vibe. Bathroom: Was a let down with toilet seats ripped out, but it was still functional. A lot of stairs are needed to be navigated down/up & would be an issue if the culprit is drunk! lol

I ordered with Deliveroo: Chicken Sandwich No. 1 Fried chicken, bacon, cheese, pickles, lettuce, aoli, Dijon mustard and maple syrup and some Chilli Chips. When my order came I found a Chilli Dog instead of chilli chips and instead of a Chicken Sandwich I received like some sort of food experiment with like noodle covered fried chicken and carrots. What happened?
