I ordered non spicy seafood noodles and the deep fried dumpling. The food was tasty and service was good. The bowl of the noodles is big, but there wasn't too much noodles though, mostly onion only..... and I waited for more than half an hour for the food to arrive. I saw three Korean customers who seem to be the owner or the managers friends? They came much later than I did but got their noodles way faster than mine did... the restaurant wasn't even full or too busy... it was 1:30pm on a weekday.....

The food is quite average. Doesn’t seem to taste like authentic Korean Chinese fusion restaurants I’ve been to in Sydney. Even though the black beans noodles came in a big bowl, the noodles were plenty but the sauce was mainly diced onions with not much pork. It also didn’t have that wok hays flavour to it. The sweet and sour pork was good portions and a great option to share between 2-4ppl (I wish they have different sizes so we can order accordingly to the no. of pax). However, the batter was thick and not crispy and the pork inside was quite chewy and dry. The sweet and sour sauce wasn’t that tasty as well. The only good thing was they were newly renovated so the place looks clean and new, staff is also nice. I was quite disappointed with the experience and don’t think I’ll come back again.

(3.5 stars) Reasonably priced Sydney Film Festival CBD eats seem harder to come by this year, with late night dining options all but wiped out. Kao Kao Sydney on Pitt Street, delivered a good Korean meal at a decent price. For the sake of variety we ordered three dishes, but this proved to be too much food for two people. The standout was the fried hot chilli chicken ($29) with crisp, sticky hunks of boneless battered chook displaying considerable fire. Team it with Kooksoondang makgeolli ($16) to ease the burn, and surprisingly easy-to-drink Jinro Soju ($30) to numb you all over. Mapo tofu ($32) is a big homely bowl of silken tofu, diced vegetables and pork mince. Lacy shreds of beef studded with crisp broccoli and capsicum make the spicy beef bulgogi ($32.50) a healthy and enjoyable eat, but really it was all about the spicy chook. Warmed by Korean booze and sated by the home-style dishes, we felt ready to tackle the cold two block walk to the @statetheatreau for opening night.

Just above average for Korean food. Black bean noodles at best would have had one tablespoon of meat. Service and staff were slow

Ordering was super easy! The food came out fast and fresh. The staff were really welcoming and nice all around, very helpful when we needed it. The food was delicious. Ordered the Jajangmyeon and loved it. Super tasty, the pork was really nice and the noodles had the perfect flavour. Also got the garlic chilli chicken and that was mouth-wateringly flavour-some! Paired with some kimchi it was very delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.
