Thai Place Epping

I hate to give any small business a bad review but I just want to suggest that they need to improve on some of their dishes. I ordered salt and pepper soft shell crab and I had a whole lot of flour sprinkled with a lot of garlic. There must be a bite or 2 of the crab but you have to look for it. It was just something that one cannot eat. Very disappointed. This restaurant used to have better food.

We've been here a few times and we've got the general gist of this place. Food wise - tasty, authentic but at times probably abit too salty. I wouldn't go here for a healthy meal that's for sure. Price wise - good too. Serving size - good/large. Now onto to service. Eating in the restaurant is POOR!! Especially when the place is busy - more than 3 customers is considered busy. Expect slow sevice and abit of rudeness. They are very inefficient in running the place and only appears to be only one or at most two people serving the restaurant floor. Because of this experience we didn't come back for a quite a few months. This place is good if you are patient and not in a hurry. However if you are in for a quick lunch. Forget it. You'll tear your hair out and bleed to death.

Thank you SO MUCH to The Thai Place at Epping. I placed a big order in on Friday afternoon in readiness for a dinner party on Saturday night. Not only did all the food arrived early on Saturday night but it was so well packed and still so hot that I didn't have to do a lot of reheating. The food was delicious and devoured by my thirteen hungry guests. We will always stick to the Thai place. We've never been disappointed.
