An easy recommendation. We tried this place on a whim as we were only in Sydney for the day. Absolutely delicious meal of cold salads and warm meats (for today, roast chicken and pulled pork enchilada). It's an ever changing menu with new choices each day. The two salads (grapes, fennel, hazelnuts and rocket + beetroot, apple, walnut and horseradish) complimented both the meats and the wines we chose. There's a decent wine selection along with spirits and cocktails. Well worth the visit.

This is QUALITY food that is delicious, honest and pretty healthy! I have been there for lunch and dinner and it's such a welcoming place - from their comfy sitting area to the very kind staff that make you feel valued and well looked after. The staff don't oversell or try to push you into buying more, they'd rather listen and find out about what you feel like eating and then they cater to that. Try the bread and the steak chips! It's just on another level. I have no doubt this restaurant will do very well because it's backed by good food and a very positive and lovely team! Well done!

This is a great model for lunch - a combo of go up to the counter and select from their fresh and appealing offerings plus unobtrusive, professional and friendly table service if you decide you want an extra drink, coffee, cake... It's part restaurant, part (hip) cafeteria. The decor is relaxing-industrial, toilets spotless, and despite it being near full when we (4) were there, not too noisy. The Google site has confusingly this rated as $$$ which I think is inaccurate. It's more $$ and great value.

Very enjoyable evening out. Picked restaurant from a Gift card and were very pleasantly surprised. Cold miserable evening but the ambience inside was warm and comfortable. Our server was very well versed on her food and wines and everything we ordered was very enjoyable. Would definitely return and highly recommend to our friends and family.

If you want the BEST LUNCH in the Sydney CBD then go to Kitchen by Mike. His canteen style restaurant is really great.The portions are very generous and the food is always really healthy. Lots of salads and really nice meat options that change everyday along with vegan and vegetarian stuff too. Mike’s usually there serving at the canteen so thats always fun to meet him. It’s a really special and unique place to go for a healthy lunch in Sydney.
