Nick's Diner

The food and service, and cleanliness are top of the line. We never wait longer than approximately 8 to 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The staff is so friendly and is on top of their game. The food is always prepared with that extra touch! Prices are a little more than average. But I would prefer to pay the extra 2 to 3 dollars more to get quality food like Nick's serves. Great family restaurant!

I really love this place. Recently changed management or ownership and is now AZ Diner. So far the menu and quality are the same (as of this past weekend). I don't like omelettes but I swear by their corned beef and Swiss omelette and the Greek omelette. The servers are all friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable and I've never had to wait particularly long for a seat, even on busy weekends.

Beautiful little dinner made you feel right at home! Clean environment and great tasting food plus good amount of food for the prices which were extremely reasonable! Service was friendly and polite, gave the impression they didn't want to bother the dinners, but a few more quick stops or walk by the table would have been nice. Overall top notch experience and will be back!

We've lived in Surprise for over 3 years and finally got to Nicks diner after so many friends recommended it. Had a great lunch with good portions, topped off with outstanding service by Rene. Menu is extensive along with desserts. We will be coming back for sure and hope to get seated in Rene's section again as she is one of the best servers I've ever encountered.

Had Sunday lunch at Nicks, food and service was great. Was served our lunch quickly and food was hot off the grill and tasty. Mari as our server and she was attentive and provided outstanding service. Nicks recently expanded their menu and has a lot more options than before. I highly recommend this spot. Priced well for the quality of food served.

Wow... I hadn't been to this diner in a while. My husband and I have always enjoyed it, but they have improved it even more. The food was amazing. The variety on the menu and new meals were impressive. Our waitress was top-notch. She was very friendly and attentive. When our food arrived fast and it was piping hot and homemade. We both tried something new, and it was delicious. They owner Samantha was out walking around the dining room, and she stopped by our table to say hi. She was so friendly and kind. We talked about the restaurant and the history of it. She has added some really amazing desserts and breads from a local reputable bakery that she also owns. The fresh breads, cakes, and pies are the best you'll ever get. They have extended the restaurant hours, too. We were the last ones in the restaurant that evening, and she walked us out like a family member would do at home and gave us some freshly baked baguettes to take home. I highly recommend you try it. You won't be sorry as this kind of quality and service is hard to find these days.
