love this place to stop in for burger, fries and beer. (only issue is...guess smoking is allowed? there's an older Hispanic guy with Jack Russell terrier at bar who smokes all day?)

For a hideaway beach bar & grill the food is outstanding. Simple typical burgers & stuff. Wifey had breakfast burger again 😁. I got the Philly steak sandwich with onion rings.
Both huger & sandwich were very very good. The onion rings were very good.
The bartender greeted us as we walked in the door, this was a Tuesday so only one waitress and cook. Our server was MJ great personality and friendly.
Service FYI is very slow. Took 30 minutes for our food, but can tell you, it definitely wasn’t left sitting on a bar top our food was - Red Hot—.
Fantastic Food. Fantastic people.
Just accept your service is beach service it’s on “ Laid Back Time “.

So 2 days later. Just warmed up the leftovers.
Did them outside grill.
Food still just as excellent.

First time in Freeport didn't want to spend a lot of money I found this on the Google restaurants enjoyed the hell out of it friendly staff comfortable atmosphere and my BLT was the largest I've ever had in my life and it was delicious great job

On vacation with the wife. This was a good stop after the beach.
Big portions, the fried onions and burgers were great. It wasn't very busy when we were there, and we had good service.

The best little hole in the wall establishment! Good food and great people. The French toast sticks were so yummy with the perfect light crisp. My eggs were perfect and the bacon, yum! 🥓. The cream cheese stuffed jalapenos were fried to perfection in an amazing batter that was a delight to crunch into. The burger my bf got had rave reviews from him too! I'm super glad we decided to drive down and have a spontaneous meal out here!

Great place to go eat. Prices are super cheap comparatively to other resturants. Fed me and 3 others full meals with an appetizer, drinks and a couple beers each for 56$ and to me that's a crazy cheap price for 2023. Beers (I assume all of them, the ones i got were imports) cost 3.25, which is definitely the cheapest beer around. Philly cheesesteak was the best in the Houston area in my honest opinion and I'm super picky about food. People there are local and super nice. Great place for after a long day at the beach or long day of fishing. Plus if you live in houston, just go here and take the alternate route home, same distance basically but more scenic drive!!!

This is an old school joint in the best ways possible; friendly service and regulars (don't be surprised if someone rings the bell and buys a round!), pool, ice cold beer amd i am not kidding the BEST burger you could ask for. You know before you even walk in you've found the spot... the smell from the old seasoned grill is amazing the second you open your vehicle's door.
My daughter and I split a (half pound) Southwest burger that was loaded with jalapenos (it wasn't a jalapeno jam, but it reminded me of one), tomato, lettuce, pepper jack cheese and a bombass chipotle cayenne sauce on a great toasted buns. It was perfect. A MESS, but like the best of us, a blistering hot, perfect mess. The fries were also cooked amd seasoned just rigjt, amd as mentioned, the beer was ice cold.
We are so certain we'll be back we almost headed back again today after eating there yesterday..
Fair warning- it's a joint. Its hot. You'll be fine amd thank me later. 🤣

Great casual beach bar feel, with a dedicated team and loyal patrons. The Jetty Shack has one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks we have ever had and it's a great lunch or dinner option while you're on Follet's Island or on your way back home coming through from Galveston.

What a great place! Rode my bike here from the rv park…u know a place is good when the local emt squad shows up for lunch. This seems like a locals favorite And for good reason. It’s not touristy at all, but what it is is a local bar that serves up one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! There was another review on here that mentioned someone driving bout of their way to come here for a burger and I get it now! It’s not a fancy so-called “gourmet” burger but an actual burger done right! I may just come here everyday for lunch while I’m here! Highly recommend! Also the outside seating is probably cooler than the inside!
