Awesome owner and quality meats/eats! Had the pulled pork and brought home sausages and beef sticks! All were awesome! The store is cozy and has great custom woodworking throughout! Will be back for more!

Loved it loved it loved it! The brats are the best. Sherry worked me up a sampler combo that wasn't on their menu of pulled pork, 4 ribs (massive) and a brat. Along with the homemade broccoli salad and green beans, I was sufficiently suffonsified!
I eat a LOT of BBQ and appreciate when its done differently and done well. I'll be heading back to Meats and Eats next month when I pass back through Sullivan. I'll be bringing a cooler though so I can pack home some of their fresh meats.

Hands down one of the best brats I've had anywhere. All the other food was very good. Great stop for lunch or dinner, but you can get brats, sausages, massive pork chops, or any other great cut of meat to cook at home. Highly recommended.

Stopped in looking for local mid-Missouri BBQ not the tourist trap farther down I-44. What a pleasant surprise! Recently opened; owner took great pride in showing us her shop. The lady is a butcher, knows her cuts, and does a fine, fine job. Pulled pork was moist with a great smoke ring, ribs were tender not mush, sides were excellent including a broccoli salad that's a 10.0. Wished we had frozen ice packs for their sausages. If I'm ever down I-44 again I know where the dinner stop is, no question.

Even at 15 minutes to close, most of their menu was still available, and the flavors are simply stunning.

This is a great, no nonsense, unpretentious, fantastic place! It is small, but the food and charm are well worth it. Great food. If you want a place where you can get in, eat, and go about your life, this is the place. Beer is cold too!

The meat was dried out and baked potato wasnt baked through. There are only about 10 seats inside and only one table. Tried 3 sauces and only liked one of them.
