I was dining with a group. We were seated quickly and the waitress got all of the drink orders. After the drink orders were delivered she brought everyone straws. She took the time to get all of the orders and find out how the checks would be divided. Our salads or bread options came out early. Up to this point I was impressed. Meals come out and my 6 oz. steak was overcooked. I had ordered medium rare. What I got was well done. The waitress said she would be right back with my order. Ten minutes later, she returned. It was well done again. By this point, everyone was finishing their meals. Fifteen minutes later the manager showed up with a medium well cooked steak. I accepted it, because by this point I was hungry. He said the steak was cooked to temperature. The problem with cooked to temperature meat is it needs to be delivered shortly after it's plated because it continues to cook on the plate as it sits. Especially when placed in a food window that is heated. Medium rare has a short cook time. It should have been delivered within five minutes, depending on the temperature of the grill. I was a head cook for fifteen years. So, I have extensive experience in this field. The real insult was the manager said he would discount the cost to part of the meal. Not halved or removed, but knock off a small portion of the cost. I sat for a combined 25 minutes after the rest of the table had been served waiting for a five minute steak to be cooked and delivered on a not too busy day. As long as you order something that doesn't require a specific cook to it, you should be fine. But if you are looking for anything other than well done on steaks or burgers, I would suggest going to a steak chain instead of this place.

We were seated quickly and that's were the good experience ended. The waitress was either on something or just not on top of things. She didn't ask what bread we wanted, brought the pie with the meal, never checked on us and did the check wrong then didn't get what we were talking about when we showed her the mistake. To top that the food was cold and rubbery.

Always such a great experience here. Our server Kelli was really attentive and intuitive, and had things like fresh drinks before we could think to ask. Kelli was super friendly and made friends with my super shy 3 year old too, she made us feel comfortable and welcome. Thanks for the great experience Kelli!

Food was cold. We saw our food waiting...sitting under the lamps for a good 10 to 12 minutes. Then finally got it. Pancakes were hard on the edges from sitting. Mac n cheese and French toast were too cold to eat. And the pot roast skillet had about 13 homefries and two forkfuls of pot roast. Very shocked at the serving sizes, how much they have shrunk. Very disappointed visit. Probably won't go back.

Always enjoy our meals at Bob evans. Service is friendly the meals are always tasty and hot. Good value for your money. Highly recommend for breakfast of course but also lunch and dinner although you need to check and make sure as many restaurants have limited hours like so many businesses these days

I will not be going back. Curbside pickup ignored me. It doesn't take an hour to fill to idendtical breakfast orders. Called when I arrived and acknowledged I was early. After 55 minutes since order placed I called back to ask if I was forgotten. Server she be there when she can get to it that SHE was busy. No apology and a scowl on her face. Called to speake to manager. She immediately took server's side with no apology, just excuses and explaining g that pick up times are not accurate. Never again.
