Applebee's

I'm really tired of the Applebee's app not working. Every time it located me, it seems to pick the closest one to me. By the time the order is done it goes to a store 20 minutes away. It seems simple enough to be able to tell, but when I'm traveling and not familiar with area, it's hard to catch it before it happens. I think they should stop working on creating so many ads and marketing campaigns and spend some money getting the easy stuff to work correctly, like not making me drive twenty minutes away for my food.

Got to this location, waited for 20 minutes while there were no other customers waiting before us. There were plenty of open seats available and they did not appear to be short staffed. Made eye contact with multiple servers, who instead of even telling us they’d be right with us continued to walk past us. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

I left a 1-star review before because we were not treated well at that time. I later visited several times and was served good. Now I change it to 5-star because I felt very comfortable with the service and food tonight. The waitress was very nice and professional. I hope Applebee's will keep this way of doing business, treating every customer patiently and equally. By the way, Applebee's dishes are always among the best.

I have eaten at this Applebee's for many years, with pretty good meals, and excellent service. This recent visit was shocking (floors obviously not swept up, booths not available), I am assuming it was a staffing problem, as so many restaurants are having due to the pandemic. Hoping my next visit is up to the previous very good standard.
