Update: May 29 We just thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! The kids love the waitress as she is engaging with them and actually listened to them! Food is on point, fresh and yummy!! Thank you Applebee's for always making my entire family happy! Always great. Never a complaint. Best service in Stockton I think! Jordan was my waitress, and she was all over it!! Today's visit. Totally different. We went Saturday evening, a few days after the building caught some stray bullets and people were scared to go. Come on, it's Stockton. Can't be scared to go ANYWHERE just because of stray bullets. So, this place was jam packed when we arrived, however, they seated us right away. 25 minutes drag by, 3 ansy children have now made ME ansy. So I decided to attempt to order the kid's meals on the tabletop menu. I got to the end and it said "technical error, please see it waiter to complete the order. By this time our waiter had ran by twice, stating he was our waiter and he was coming soon. 40 minutes in, our waiter makes it to our table and we finally order drinks. He also helped me by completing our order for the kids. An hour in and we are in a totally different atmosphere. The place was mostly empty. We got our drinks at almost an hour and 15 minutes, then everything else just kindof took a while. The kids got their food BEFORE we got our appetizers so we attacked them. The chicken tenders were rubbery and hard to chew so we told the kids don't worry, eventually we'll get our appetizers and they can tear those up. This took a while and we basically received our appetizers right beside our supper. The rest of the food was awesome. Like no complaints from ANYONE. We also could see that our waiter was busting his rump to get us our food as quickly as possible. For example, he made the kids drinks and brought them the same minute we ordered them. Our waiter was awesome, let me just say. He got a $50. Tip for it to. I always tip well. So many neglect to tip at all. The total for EVERYTHING was $176. So $50 is more than 15%. We love this place, like my whole family does. There's enough variety on the menu to fit so many different cravings that I can easily take my group of 7, aged 2 to 52, and EVERYONE is satisfied. I give 3 stars because I love the restaurant. So I did an online order.i ordered the 2 for $22 meal and french Onion soup. Picked up my food everything was fine. When I got home to eat I got chips but no artichoke dip and 2 spoonfuls of french onion dip. You read it right 2 spoonfuls I paid $4.99 for the soup. I don't drive so there was no way I could go back to complain. I did an Applebee's review and no the employee did not double check order. I will now check order if I ever do another online order. The food what we got was really yummy.

I used to work at an Applebee's & I've always enjoyed their food & environment. I noticed they upgraded their Happy Hour! So I was so excited to get the Pretzels & beer cheese. 🤤 The service was good. I went around 4:30 or so & it did get busy , but the manager on duty was helping out as shift change was happening during this rush. Will most definitely be going back.
