Coreys Mill Beefeater

We stopped off at this beefeater on the way back from Lego land and could not fault the customer service from any of the staff. The one that stands out the most is Lisa, she was attentive, friendly and just a pleasure to have waiting us. This does not take away anything the other staff did as they also were exceptional but we didn't catch their names. We arrived around 19:30pm and were met with friendly smiley staff, we were seated in a booth and straight away attended too for drinks. We only ordered diets cokes for Myself/Wife and Daughter. I had the mixed grill, which was cooked to perfection and peppercorn sauce was great, my daughter had popping chicken and loved this, my wife had the BBQ chicken melt without the BBQ sauce and enjoyed the moist chicken. Myself and my daughter got our meals but the wife's got delayed as the chef forgot to take off the BBQ sauce. I believe Lisa caught this in the kitchen and told us but the chefs were not phased about doing another chicken, and it was a new one, not like some places that just scrape the sauce off. Lisa brought a bowl of fries for my wife while she waited which was lovely. After her food was delivered and we had eaten we were full and happy and Lisa came and took payment. A real gem of a women and a credit to the company, as are all the staff that were there last night and I believe they should have recognition. All this came about as we still had a 3 hour drive to get home. Absolutely loved the place and the food, very family friendly and a good atmosphere. The only reason there isn't 5 stars for atmosphere is because for a split couple.of seconds as we ascended the stairs to be seated it was like the wild west and everyone turned to see who we were and stared for a second or so. I obviously regulars but still a little uncomfortable. After that though everything went swimmingly. Again can't recommend this beefeater enough Thank you to all the staff last night for feeding us before the rest of our long trip home.

Helpful, thoughtful team very busy for evening service but attention recieved to prevent boredom whilst waiting on order been taken and meal served was spot on. Friendly gentleman serving us made us feel welcome on our whistle stop tour of London, before heading home to Ayrshire. Would reccomend and hopefully return soon thank you.

I had the lunch menu fish and chips cooked by Jon and Tom in the kitchen. I have to say, bloody excellent. Perfect light and very crispy batter, delicious. Well cooked tasty white fish. Perfect fries ( a treat from the conventional chips) , just a delicious meal. Piping hot, nice portion size and not too long a wait either. Highly recommend. Thank you both.
