Paul Wiederaenders, the owner, tried to push me down the stairs. He was drunk and angry at the time. I was going to file a police report but a customer convinced me to not do so...
The owner claims they don't have stairs. There are, in fact, stairs to the basement. These can be found in the kitchen directly next to the alley door.

Bartender was hilarious. We were just stopped in for one drink but ended up staying for a few hours. The food looked fantastic and prices just right, well have to come back to try!
