Me: "I would like to order a sub" Rachel, the world's finest employee: "Well, it depends how much you tip us" This is the question I was asked before even trying to order a sub the other night from Rachel, the "lovely" girl at the counter. I'm sorry if she had a bad day and didn't get to smoke crack on her break at work, but please don't make those problems my problems. I have never had someone treat me this rude in any restaurant. Generally one orders food and tips after being served or right after paying, but she told me the only way to actually place the order was if I tipped before even ordering. Which contradicts the whole notion of a tip, which is based on the persons performances and I told her that, because it is really unacceptable. She then proceeded to not let me order any food because I would not tip her ahead of time. Which is probably a good thing because I saw all the sad faces waiting patiently for their food for 40 minutes. I am a local and have been in a bunch of times. Never been too impressed with the poor customer service or long waits for food, but generally the food comes out tasting okay. If there was less than one star I would award it to Rachel and South a Philly.

I am from Philly! Lived there my whole life till I turned 18 or so and I'm 35 now. I have traveled the world and had many different "versions" of cheesesteaks. This is the FIRST TIME I have EVER been reminded of home! These guys rock! And they're from Philly! I will be coming here everytime I'm in St Augustine! Wow!! I'm full but still hungry!

This place doesn't know how to make a parmesan hero. They use provolone cheese instead of mozzarella They don't even have mozzarella in the store at all. They need to learn how to cook heroes before they advertise it online as a parmesan hero. You don't put provolone on a parmesan hero You use mozzarella cheese
