Peace Pie

Y'all. These cookie sandwiches are heaven. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from the walk up window, and enjoy it on a cute walk around the square. There are SO many flavors. The sandwiches are big. The ice cream is so tasty, and so cold, it didn't melt in my hand before I could eat it. The good: everything. The neutral: the cookies are hard, not soft. But they are so good and not too hard to eat. The bad: there's probably twice as much ice cream as you need, but it's worth it. They take cards, they have little boxes. They have different little pie shots, and you can even buy the cookies.

I visited this store for the first time and had the key lime pie and it was amazing!! 10 stars!! I decided that I was going back every day to try different flavors. When I returned the following day, I had the strawberry shortcake and there was hardly any pie filling and there was less ice cream. The ice cream tasted good, but it was nothing like the initial experience and the point of getting it is the mix of the ice cream and pie filling. . Now I'm left disappointed and unsure if I want to go back.

Very cute store and creative idea for a snack. The ice cream is tasty and they are quite creative with flavor pairings. The cookie is solid and holds the ice cream and pie filing well. I would call this a sharable treat since it’s so rich. It would also be fun to get two different sandwiches and share them so you can try two because it’s hard to choose just one.
