Hef's is a wonderful spot with a cool history. The food is always good and they are open when many others in the area are not. Wings, wraps and pizza are among my favorites. Prices are very affordable and food quantities are plentiful. Highly recommend!

Great little sports bar with some really great sandwiches. Adult beverages were fairly priced. Lots of locals with a few out of towners thrown in made for a great crowd watching 3 different football games at once.

Hef's is quickly becoming one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is served hot and it has always been delicious on every visit. They don't skimp on the meat in the burgers, but it's also not overboard with portions. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!
Pictures I uploaded show I ordered a hamburger, all the way (slaw, chili, mustard, onion) and fries. My brother-in-law got the Chipotle burger, tater tots, wings and dill pickle chips.

We came to Hef’s while visiting the area and I’m so glad we did. Service and food were great, awesome little bar.

Delicious! I had spinach salad loaded with toppings and hot wings, fresh and perfect. My husband had a chipotle Bleu cheese burger with a huge patty and perfect medium. He thought it could be more chipotle flavor but was otherwise very good. Our waitress Amy was super nice and told us about how freshly made all the foods are. It is a bar and restaurant with modern decor.

We had an excellent meal and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant / sports bar although we sat at a booth in the dining area. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. This place definitely has the feel of the hidden jewel and we'll look forward to stopping in during our next visit to Spruce Pine!

I dragged a large group here for a low key place for us to hang out. Staff was great. Our server was a doll with a thick accent, which was fun for the guys who were all from up north. Food was much better than expected. The guys who ordered the fried Oreos gave them high praise. Positive experience.

Wings were excellent, staff was great and worked their tails off. The shredded pork wasn't good at all (cold and no sauce). Burger was above average and the pizza was solid but WAY too much cheese. And I've never said that in my life.
