Denny's

6/12/2022 Place is empty but we got takin care of after 10 mnts from being seated . Server got our orders without even writing on the pad .coffee took awhile to arrive . Food followed after 30 mnts or so . Pancakes was surprisingly HOT ! Most of the time it’s cold and the rest of the food is cold . Server was very nice

They were super busy, only 2 servers, and 2 cooks, but still managed to seat us in a decent amount of time. The servers were polite friendly and fast. The general manager was really supportive of her team and running food right along side them. It was a very impressive operation! Round of applause to the GM Corrine !

We came here for breakfast last Friday June 25, 2021 I give them a five star not only because the food was delicious, but also they were short staffed and only two women were seating the guests, serving the guests, and handing out takeout orders. Two women did all of that, and we got our food within 15 mins of ordering. They worked very very hard that morning. But back to the food, I loved the banana chocolate pancakes and the hash browns were crispy not soggy. They also gave me a decent amount of eggs. I have been to other Denny's where they barely gave me any eggs.

Food was decent and staff very kind. The place was relatively clean. The issue is food timing as they are understaffed, as I know many are. We finished our omelet and English muffin and still had to wait for the upcharged fresh fruit. Napkins were only delivered towards the end of the meal and cream was brought out after a personal request and 30 minutes after the hot water delivered. Yet, the staff were doing everything they could with only 2 serves for the whole place during a busy Saturday breakfast. Will probably return but at a less busy time.

Always amazes me when an empty restaurant denies me a seat 50 min before close. Eggs and bacon takes no time and NOT to mention I tip heavy. Now I know why this location needs new employees- cause the ones they have a lazy and don’t know a thing about customer service. I suggest driving down the road and finding anything else.

Memorial Day, Monday, 7pm. Looking for some place to eat up and down Route 20 from Palmer to Springfield. Finally ended up at Denny's. We had breakfast for supper. Overall, pleasantly surprised. One waitress in the entire place who also was hostess and busser. Only one other table occupied, and she apologized to them numerous times as well. She took our order and did not tell the kitchen any requests, such as crispy english muffin and no mushrooms. She caught one error on the way to me with my plate, but if course delivered eggs and bacon, which were not warm when I finally got my crispy English muffin. I had to remind her about the muffin and fruit and decaf coffee (new pot, at least!). My husband got the Philly steak omelet, no mushrooms. Of course it came with mushrooms, so he sent it back. The steak chunks were a little large, but most were soft and good--a few more chewy. She was a very nice waitress, just kind of clueless. And the food was decent. Again, pleasantly surprised.
