Antonio's Grinders

The bread is amazing! Its flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The grinders are huge and packed full of your choice of fillings. We chose a ham and cheese and a chicken parm. They were both loaded and tasty. The chicken parm grinder was delicious and warm and we added some sprinkle parmesan on it. The ham and cheese may be a classic but add a little crushed red peppers and it's splendid. They have parmesan, salt, pepper, ketchup, and crushed red peppers in the dinning room thats self serve. Great for a quick sit down lunch or a grab and go. This would have been a 5 star review but there was a man in the kitchen with all the ladies(Wednesday Dec 1st at around 1pm), that was yelling and speaking inappropriately. Maybe an owner? I am not sure but it was definitely a conversation for the backroom not the kitchen/dinning room while everyone can hear and see them. Also the lack of consistency of service. One older lady making the sandwiches is pleasant and attentive and then the lady ringing us up is rude and bothered by the customers she is taking money from. She couldn't pull away from her conversation and eye roll exercises to retain any of my information as she asked us 3 times if it was "for here? Or to go?"

Very disappointed. I ordered a steak n cheese grinder plain, only cheese on it. They sent it with peppers n onions. I call them n explain that I ordered my grinder with steak n only cheese on it. I had ordered thru delivery express so Antonio's tells me to call delivery express n sendem back to them that they'll send me what I wanted. Cool, I call delivery express n explain what happened n they go back to Antonio's. They go back n bring me another grinder. I'm happy as heck cus I really love Antonio's steak n cheese grinders. So once they deliver I open it n what do I see, another grinder just like the previous one. I call Antonio's back n tell them they sent me another grinder thats the same as the one they first sent me. The lady tells me that I need to be specific when ordering n I told her I couldn't be more specific then I already was. She leaves me on hold for couple mins n tells me that she can give me a refund but I'd need to go thru the delivery express website where I initially ordered from. I give up. Smh never ordering from Antonio's again. They don't care to send what the customer orders n when you call them on it n complain they obviously aren't listening cus again, they send what they want. Damn shame cus on a good day their foods actually good but their customer service sucks balls!! Smh

I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. It was pretty dry, and sadly, the pizza reminded me of gas station pizza. That's all I can equate it to. I was excited to eat here because of the high star ranking, but I should have read some more reviews. 21 dollars and change for a medium buffalo chicken pizza that was just disappointing.

This place has amazing food but the service on the phone is horrible every time I call the line is always busy for more than 12 mints they hang up in your face or they are seriously rude. And as a business owner I believe that is bad for business and it looks bad for the owners as well. I’d recommend to please get another phone service or multiple phones so at least multiple people can respectfully take orders for others.

Never a negative experience. Employees are welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed. Food is absolutely outstanding, the bread is amazing. Wish I could come here more! I moved away from Mass 15 years ago. Just moved back and this was my most anticipated spot to eat it. Still as good if not better, if you're in the area looking for a grinder, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop in.

Apparently all these people praise this place because they never ate past 6 pm. One star is even too much to rate them. I ordered dinner there for the first time and disappointed isn't even enough to describe my experience. First, I waited an hour for two grinders and small fries. Second, the food wasn't fresh. Third, there was no fries, they threw leftovers that was less than the size of my hand. Never going there again because if I do, I'm afraid I'm going to be recorded and accused for a false narrative. IDIOTS.

For as long as this place has been in business, I am extremely disappointed on my experience there tonight. I walked in, many customers waiting on their food. One customer waited nearly 30 minutes to then find out that they can't make or don't have a cheese slice! Instead of telling that customer before he paid. Employees were nice, but not organized at all! Back to my order, my order of curly fries...I wish I would of taken a photo. It was smaller than McDonalds Fries in a kids meal. $4.50 for barely any fries that i had to wait 5 mins extra for them to fry. My 12in grinder was more like a 8in grinder, because 4 inches of it didnt have anything on it. This is the gem of Springfield, so I hope this changes. Prices are reasonable, of course, but no need to cheap people of their order.
