Best Subs in town and possibly the universe.
The bread is fresh, the ingredients are on point I eat there at least once a week.
Staff is always friendly and the sandwich master in the back can almost get your order filled before you pay. Never ceases to amaze.

Good amount of sandwich for money. Meat tastes kind of processed, but what can you expect at this price point? Asked for the sandwich warmed and they put in the microwave (LOL). Not a bad value for a quick lunch , and thats what its there for.

As a rule we normally have no issues and we are satisfied but when our workers were complaining that that the prices have gone up as Much as $3 more per sandwich that is a bit too much
Now there is no difference between the sub shop and Subway

The Sub Shop serves the best subs in town - a great family-owned business that is a hidden gem in downtown Springfield. Thy food is affordable, fresh, and delicious!
Update 2/8/2022 - this is still our family's favorite sub shop in town - my kids say no other place compares! And they now accpet credit cards.
