Clean, decent prices, and fancy sodas. I’ve been more than once. Spicy, so order mild first if you’re not up for that. Plus a loyalty program.

This is my go to place for Indian food in North Houston. The food quality is always great and the service is outstanding. I usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala. I also really like the Lamb Vindaloo. My daughter had the Lamb Biryani, she enjoyed her meal as well.

Food delicious. Service polite, helpful and timely. Atmosphere clean and light.
Only downside is they reject cash! A cashless society will hurt Americans, and is devastating to other countries, especially the poor.
PLEASE ACCEPT CASH even if it only accounts for less than 20% of payments!

Walk up to the counter and order. It seems like a cross-between fast food and a modern diner. The plates looked great but it didn't have that zest that comes from a traditional Indian or Nepalese restaurants. If you are looking for fast, this is your place; date night it isn't. This is the type of place you and your colleagues go to for a lunch meeting.

Food is good chicken breast kabobs with veggies and rice. With bread. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes which is helpful in choosing.

They have beer and wine as well.
They have an app and ordering on app helps in getting points and that’s good to get some a few goodies.

I ordered the Tikka Masala and it was perfectly warm and delicious. I recommend getting the garlic naan and dipping it in the sauce. I love doing this with Indian food because the spices are so yummy and this restaurant did not disappoint! My son had the chicken with the fries from the kid menu which was perfect for a kid who does not necessarily like to try new food items. This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were a bit hesitant since it’s a chain but we were not at all disappointed. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will be back!

Highly recommend Tarka! Delicious, authentic Indian food! 😋 We usually order the chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, and mulligatawny soup. Everything always tastes great! Pretty good portion sizes too. Their lemonades and sodas are a hit as well.

Really great food and fast service for about what you'd spend at a fast food burger joint these days. I ordered on the app while checking out at Kroger and had to wait no longer than four minutes after driving to the other side of the parking lot and going inside. Plenty of leftovers for lunch at work the next day too.

Had the chicken tika it was good, quick service and very causal, a good fast food alternative. My wife had the biryani rice and she liked it a lot. Definitely recommend if you in the area.
