Update 03/19/2022 We went there the second time for a takeout online order, I loved the little stickers they put on each box so we know what’s inside of each box! The food was as good as the first time and they came out fast but the cornbread was put in a pepper bag and some of them were smashed 🥲 We were going out for a picnic so I asked for more napkins but the staff told me that they already put some napkins in our bag so I didn’t get any extra napkins but it turned out that there were only 2 napkins in our bag🥲 We loved this place!!! The parking was a little confusing at first but the staff was really chill and told us that we can park at the 15 minutes pick up area and the back of the restaurant too, even though there were Tow zone signs on the wall😂 We spend about 15-20$ per person at this place and we were blown away by their customer service!! We ordered by our phones, there was a QR code on each table, it is really easy to use and convenient, the staff was really chill and friendly, they kept checking on us and made sure that we were satisfied with our visit! We got our drinks immediately after we sent our order! The food came fast and our favorite was the rib tips! It was so tender, flavorful and moist, the wedding beans were another highlight, they even put a little pork in the beans!! We added an extra dollar for the onion rings, it’s totally worth the price!! Really crispy and I would say it was a pretty good size! The pulled pork sandwich was a little bit dry for us but we solved that after we put their amazing sauce and wedding beans into our sandwich!! They offered us lemon scent hand wipes which I thought was really thoughtful!! The whole restaurant was really relaxing and we loved all the music they played there! Great service, great food, we are definitely going back again!

Me and my boyfriend are huge bbq lovers so we ended up getting the tailgater bbq just so we can have a little of everything. We thought the Pork ribs were great.. but everything else just seemed too dry with leftover vibes. The pulled pork was very dry, as well as the “moist” brisket that we requested. The fries, beans, Mac and cheese were good. I personally was not to crazy about the cornbread the cheese and jalapeños threw me off a little. I just feel like when you eat anything bbq it should be hot and fresh and it just wasn’t it.

I saw Jaycation’s YouTube and decided to give this place a try. It’s pretty far from my place, but it’s nice to go a little far to enjoy a delicious bbq lunch on Saturday. We ordered a combo plate- half rib and brisket with side potato salad and wedding beans. I definitely love their brisket a lot, the ribs are a little lean to my taste. I love fatty meats more. For side, I love potato salad, it’s a perfect one. Wedding beans are nice, but a little too sweet for my taste. Over the whole meal, my favorite is their jalapeño corn bread, it’s super super yummy. Next time, I should order a basket of corn breads.

Stop reading this and make the drive out east if you really want the best BBQ that San Diego has to offer. I've been meaning to try this place and it exceed my expectations. We ordered the tailgater (feeds 4-5) ($79.99) which included: pulled pork, brisket, fall off the bone pork ribs, tri tip, chicken and rib tips. Along with potato salad, Mac N cheese, coleslaw, beans and cornbread. All of the BBQ meats were tender (No fork needed) and flavorful, but my favorites were the pulled pork and brisket.

This was the only place in our route home that we could find, and I could not be any happier about that. The place was clean, the staff very friendly and attentive. Food was ready in a short time and it was so delicious. Everything on point specially the ribs, and the jalapeño corn bread! We will be going back soon for sure!
