Great place with delicious pies. Sausage rolls and plasted pies are a must-try, and I love the little cherry and apple ones. Food is fresh, so if you arrive late in the evening, it might be served cold. Will definitely return for the plasted pies.

Every time I’ve been to Plested Pies, I’m always given a really friendly greeting. The food is spectacular; I love their vegan sausage rolls and the Eccles cakes are dangerously moreish. Really reasonably priced, to boot. A must-visit for Shirley High Street!

Plested Pies is a classic local case of...if you know, you know. The best pies in Southampton run by the friendliest staff too. No nonsense bakery that has been around for nearly 100 years. I recommend the Plested Pie or if you're after something different the Balti Pie. Just remember to grab a napkin because it'll get on your chin. Enjoy!! 😂

This is a fantastic pie shop, the pie fillings are flavourful and fully packed with loads of variety (lamb and mint pie was delicious) the staff are friendly and polite. I always get pie when I go to Shirley

I had a jumbo sausage roll and chocolate donut. They were both so delicious! I’ll definitely recommend supporting Plested Pies! Such a good variety and that delicious donut! Yum!

I haven't been to Shirley in a long while and forgot all about Plested Pies. I bought a Plested steak pie, husband said it was wonderful, also bought 3 jumbo sausage rolls, delicious and then I saw the Eccles cakes. I usually find the fruit gets lost in the pastry when it rises, but these were so full and juicy, really filling. The best I ever had. It will not be long before I go back to Shirley again. Keep up the good work.

Wow!! Superb food made here! All made in house, and let me tell you... You must be quick! Its that nice some items go super fast! Got a sausage roll, lasted me about 3mins! 🤣... Its that good! Just go and have a look at the range they have! Bless those cooks!... Best place in Shirley, even better than greggs! No competition!! And loads cheaper!! Clean, tidy and very helpful staff, parking available just across the road, sanitisers at the front door, disabled friendly!... Coming back soon!! 5**😊

I grew up having Plested pies. My parents would often get the steak and kidney pies, for our dinner. I would buy an apple pie and eat it on the bus home. They were lovely. I recently spoke about the pies and decided to go and get some. The filling is just as good as I remember but the pastry is too thick. This detracts from the overall enjoyment of the pies.

A good selection of pies, steak and kidney, chicken and mushroom. Pasties ,curry vegetables etc. My choice is the home made Bread pudding, fruity with a taste of spices. Excellent value. Sausage rolls , serve hot or cold. Well established .
