I went here for the 1st time yesterday for a açaí bowl, I usually go to a place in old town, but since I was on mission I thought I would try a new place. What a mistake, employees weren’t very warm or welcoming, I asked what comes in your açaí bowls? The young man rudely pointed to the menu, so I order 1 with no mango & what I got was a bowl of warm açaí soup that was missing at least 3 other toppings besides the mango, it tasted like spoiled almond milk. I opened the bowl as soon as I walked out of the shop so there was no way it melted or anything. That’s what they were comfortable serving to me. I felt embarrassed for them. I was so disgusted & insulted I didn’t even want my money back.

I come here pretty regularly because of convenience, but I rather drive elsewhere. Last night they skipped my order (I heard two orders ahead of mine and mind you they were blended drinks which take longer). I asked what happened to mine and rather than acknowledge their mistake, one of the employees quipped they were “working on it.” This was a total lie because the other employee asked what my order was because they had lost the ticket. And apparently they do this often because I mentioned it to someone else that would go here and the same happened to them. When a customer asks what happened to their drink- you don’t need to be so rude. The drinks here are alright, but I rather drive elsewhere than compromise on being treated poorly.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks at 50% of normal sweetness was perfect for us. We tried the Matcha Milk Tea and Jasmine Tea. They use plastic bubble lids rather then the normal heat sealed lids, weird but whatever. On Tuesdays they have a $3 Thai Tea special all day. Also ask for a stamp card, 10 stamps = 1 free drink.

The barista who helped take our order was helpful in giving us suggestions. However, the other barista who made one of the drinks did not add ice to the smoothie after blending it. The drink tasted like a straight-sugar mix. It seemed like he forgot as he was in a hurry to get off his shift. It was both good and bad experience with service during the last visit.
