Blue Fish

I love Blue Fish! This place has the best sushi, staff and atmopshere. You can eat outside which is really nice and relaxing. My favorite is the popcorn roll and the district roll. I am always craving it. Thank you for always giving a great experience. I always recommend Blue Fish to my friends and family.

We had a great dinner here! The KFC appetizer was delicious. The Nigri yellowtail was also fresh and tasted great. The bulgogi and orange chicken were in the " its okay" category. The orange chicken seemed to have a weird gritty texture on some of the pieces and not quite crisp well cooked pieces. The service was great though so the overall experience was great.

Where to start!? Their doors opened right at 5:00. From there we were asked our preference of seat. “WE LOVE” We ordered the Monkey Brains and the Coconut Shrimp. Both were fantastic! Would get the monkey brains again. Each roll we got had it’s own taste. Nothing tasted the same which I LOVED! Definitely will be back to try more of their menu. Staff was very attentive. Drinks were never empty. Plates always cleaned away. Overall experience was amazing! 10/10

There are two places for sushi in the Salt Lake valley - downtown Takashi and Blue Fish in South Jordan. While I’m drawn by Takashi’s purist approach, I love the creativity the Korean sushi chefs Joe, Sang and Song bring to table at Blue Fish. I’m not an expert on sushi, but after having spent more than 25 years of my live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve learned that when it comes to sushi everything has to be balance of flavors. Both places know their craft and you will not be disappointed at Blue Fish. Be adventurous and try out any new additions to the sushi menu, like the Smokin’ Hot roll delivered in a smoke infused tin box or the Volcano. We usually also get the Queen roll, Vampire roll, Hungry roll, Coco Crunch roll and Firefighter roll. Nothing like having a feast at Blue Fish 🐟 One piece of advice: do yourself a huge favor and stick to sushi and sushi alone…. skip all dishes from the back of house.

Been here a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. They have a wide range of sushi options and all the ones I’ve tried have been good. Today I got the Sunkist roll (a favorite of mine, but I love citrus), playboy, and popcorn and all were fantastic!! The prices are reasonable and they have a half-off deal for weekday lunch that is amazing! I got 3 rolls for about $20, can’t beat it :)
