Krafty Kitchen

What a lovely place this is, we were only ones in at the time (late afternoon) , the food was beautifully presented and fresh, really enjoyed our meal, and special thanks to the 2 lovely young ladies working there , they were friendly and attentive but not too overwhelming . We were staying at hotel rendezvous next door, but chose to eat here both evenings as found the restaurant so much nicer. We recommend you pay a visit! Aa easy to spot off main road next to hotel rendezvous.

Made our first visit to the restaurant on Sunday and what a treat it was, met by friendly smiling staff , and a what a selection of meals were on offer from Sunday roasts, daily specials, and a full menu of starters. mains , and meals from the grill etc, Our meals were lovely and so so tasty, served quickly and with a smile, followed by a delicious sticky toffee pudding, The restaurant is spacious all the tables set out with linen table cloths and serviettes, A lovely place to visit with great food and brilliant staff, as Arnold says WE WILL BE BACK, highly recommend

Where to start…. I cannot praise this place enough. The Krafty Kitchen is becoming more and more popular through word of mouth and recommendation and rightly so. In my opinion, this is not just down to the delicious food (portions and quality are superb) or the lovely decor and quirky garden pods, it’s the wonderful staff!! We had our wedding reception here this month and Steph (manager), Paul (the chef) and their team could not have been more accommodating, hardworking and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and even though they were rushed off their feet serving us and the general public too, they did it with a smile on their faces. The function room upstairs is was set out perfectly, we had just short of 40 day guests and every one of them said how great the food was (from the Christmas party menu, great selection for guests to choose from including vegetarian), we made use of the lovely decking area on the canal side with our own gazebos and heaters which the Krafty Kitchen said we could put up, this created additional space for our guests, in the summer this is a lovely place to sit out. We ordered an evening buffet for some additional guests joining us, there was so much delicious food! We had a mixture of hot and cold platters including fish goujons and chips, pork pies, quiches and sandwiches etc all prepared beautifully and tasted amazing (there were doggy bags all round) I think our guests pretty much drunk the bar dry! However, Steph made sure we had everything we needed and arranged welcome drinks for all of our guests. I could go on and on about how great this place is…. If you are looking for a venue for a special occasion BOOK HERE, if you want great food, great atmosphere, in a child friendly/dog friendly restaurant this is the place. To Steph, Paul, Holly, Georgia and ALL the amazing KK staff, thank you so much for everything you are amazing, we will be in for food over Christmas and will be having a big anniversary celebration with you next year! We arrived on a Sunday lunchtime following a long hot walk along the canal. A lovely dog friendly bar and several themed areas, but we chose the top terrace overlooking the canal. We were all driving so stuck to soft drinks, but there looked to be a good range of beers. The food was fantastic and filling. There were a few Sunday roast choices alongside the main Menu. There was also a separate tapas menu which looked interesting. We also ordered a bowl of sausages for our dog. We'd certainly like to return when we are next in the area.

Visited here for a family member's 30th birthday. Food was excellent. Even managed a pudding which was also great! We sat inside and there was plenty of room for us (16 adults, 4 kids) and plenty of highchairs. Outside looks great, the pods look fab and there's water features and seating outside. We sat out in the beer garden for drinks after eating. Would recommend a visit.

We were served quickly by friendly staff. We both had the steak ciabatta with chips for lunch. The meal was tasty, the steak was cooked nicely and it was a good portion size too. We had a drink each, my partner got a beer which didn't taste quite right and they replaced it with another drink quickly and efficiently. We will most likely visit again.
