Royal Hotel

We used the bistro for dinner for 4 adults and one child, ordering was quick, easy and friendly from a varied menu; service was prompt; food quality, taste and portions were generous; a good value for money proposition all round; and the dining area is modern as a result of a recent renovation. All in all, a positive and rewarding experience. We'll be back!

My friends had a family room for one night, they were not impressed with the state of the bathroom.. it has black mold everywhere, it smelt quite nasty, has a broken button on the toilet, mold around the base of the walls in main room.the only nice thing was the beds. The fridge had black mold as well in and around it. Please fix the rooms up... only best thing about the whole stay was the meals were amazing!

Had to wait over an hour for food, must be a regular issue as they have a sign up stating 45min wait. Ordered a bourbon and coke but was given rum, returned it to the bar staff where they proceeded to drink it and demand it was a bourbon not a rum, than rudely re poured another drink in my face. Understaffed and poor customer surface, will not be returning.
