If you are looking for authentic / good japanese food, then skip this place. If you are not too picky, then it is still a decent place to dine at. We ordered the grilled fish & spicy ramen but both dishes were very ordinary. There was not a single bit of "japanese taste" at all, but rather something u can cook at home. The side dishes tamago & clams were also very ordinary... i was expecting tamago to at least taste like it but theirs tasted like normal egg that is folded into omelette then topped with mentaiko. It was neither sweet nor savory but just tasted like layered eggs. Fish & clams had quite a bit of fishy/seafood smell which was a tad too strong for me. Halfway through eating the fish, my whole mouth tasted like the ocean i had to steal some spicy soup from my partner to wash the smell away... Price is actually okay if the food is good, but because its so ordinary, not really worth it. Service was okay though. Dont think i will be back unless i have no other choice!

Food was rather underwhelming. Mini salmon don is $11.90, came with 3 thin slices of salmon, rice and miso soup. Ordering salmon sashimi (3pc) ($4.90) + rice ($1.90) would have been almost identical, but at $6.80. Have to say that the kids meal was fantastic though. Good variety and portion. My daughter loved it. The ambience was nice, place was clean and service was very pleasant. But the food just unfortunately isn’t value for money compared to other similar eateries.

Pleasantly surprised by my first dining experience here. Food was in generous portions, great taste, and good quality. The mental mayo cheese salmon side was my personal favourite. The blend of flavours in the dish were perfectly balanced, with each complementing but not overpowering the other. It was a great indulgence that could have potentially served as a main dish with a rice! The Kaminabe Zen was very filling. Ordered the beef, hotate and salmon combination. I was surprised by the tanginess of the beef, and the tenderness of the salmon again. The ebi prawn that comes along the zen was crispy and well fried. Overall a great experience and would recommend for anyone looking for some Japanese food fix! (Not to forget the welcoming service offered by the staff!)

Was a very good dining experience at Yayoi 313 outlet. Ordered the Sukiyaki Zen with pork belly meal that came with salmon sashimi (very fresh!), some pickled vegetables, onsen egg, and a mini salad bowl with sesame sauce. The staff also offered to give us miso soup (since it is supposed to come with the sukiyaki set meal. Since we were already here, we decided to order the aburi salmon salad and ika maruyaki as a side dish to try. Quite cool for the ika maruyaki to be cooked over the grill served to your table. The peach cooler was fine, but thought it could have had more peach flavour.

So satisfied with the quality, quantity and price of food there! The service there was very good, the people are extremely friendly and are willing to help when we didn't understand how to order. The food came very promptly and I was very impressed with the whole experience overall. Would definitely eat there again!
