Bojangles

I just left there and again, completely empty restaurant. I ordered at the drive through and heard someone say “that’s gonna be 8 minutes”! over the shoulder of the one taking my order. I said I’d wait. When I paid, I was asked to move forward to the white line. I said I’d rather wait right here since there are no other customers. Another worker came to the window and asked me to move because I was “messing up” the reporting. I said I was doing nothing to mess up reporting, in fact I felt reporting would be accurate. The anger and cussing behind the closed window made me regret ever stopping there. Eat there at your own risk.

Drive thru at 6pm. Ordered 8 piece and they said they were out of chicken and I would have to wait at least 20 minutes. Chicken is all you do and you are out at the dinner hour? This is the same place that gave me bacon egg biscuits without bacon. Bojangles used to be decent, but all of their shops are now trash and they have lost their way. I have gone there for the last time and I assume with their current business model, they will be gone soon also. And this cannot be blamed on lack of help.

The Bojangles in Five Forks SC & Woodruff SC are disgusting! I been to both places & I'll never make that mistake again!! The country ham biscuit is way overcooked, it's like LEATHER! The biscuits are always cold and hard. It's a total waste of money, time & gas. The chicken is cold & hard too. Too spicy!! What used to be my favorite place is now absolutely nasty!! Best to spend your money somewhere else. 😡😡😡

My son loves their French fries when they are fresh and hot which is close to most of the time. It's a bummer they don't have an ice cream option or much of a dessert selection. I think Bo Berry biscuits are the only thing close. Their Mashed potatoes and gravy are what I get if I need to sooth my tummy after a night of fun. 🙃 Very friendly staff and it's not too busy usually. I do recommend ordering from the Bojangles on Woodruff Rd in Five Forks. # friedchicken #sweettea #cajunseasoning

Original Review: My experience with store has been steadily declining over the past several weeks. Last week I requested a 2 pc dark meal with seasoned fries. When I arrived home I found 7 biscuits jammed into the normal box with no chicken or fries to be found! I returned to the store and they made it right and were friendly about it. Today I tried to order the same thing. Had to sit in line 10 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me waiting to order, then another 10 minutes to get to the pick-up window to be told I would need to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for them to cook dark meat, or I could have white meat immediately. I did not want to wait or to accept something I didn't want to have, so I asked if they could do either a grilled chicken or spicy chicken sandwich instead. Was told that would not be possible, so I left without food after at least 20 minutes spent in line. This was at around 12:20 pm on a Wednesday, when you would think they would have a large inventory of chicken in the warmer ready to serve for the lunch hour. I didn't see any of the cars in front of me pick up any large orders, so I doubt they just ran out of product too quickly, they just didn't prepare for the lunch hour by cooking ahead. When you can get the food, it is delicious, but I'm about ready to abandon this store due to consistently poor service and significant wasted time. Updated Review (3/2/2022): I gave this location another chance to redeem themselves and am happy to report that going there once a week over the past 4 weeks I have had no further issues. The food I wanted has been available without any significant waits and the service has been quick and accurate. Their Bojangles fried chicken continues to be outstanding in taste, appearance, and consistency. I have a lot of experience with fried chicken having worked for a firm in Wisconsin for 9 years which makes pressure frying equipment used in commercial restaurants for cooking chicken and which also distributes a line of fresh and frozen chicken products sourced from leading national suppliers, so I have tasted a lot of fried chicken from numerous sources in my time and this is as good as or better than anyone's in my opinion.

Will not be going back to this Bojangles. The drive thru usually takes a solid 20 minutes to get through and the order is usually wrong. It would be halfway ok if the order was right and I'd be less irritated with a wrong order if it didn't take so long to get but both? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
