Ruby Tuesday

Had the $5 cheeseburger at RT's today... FF included.. Great deal. Maybe the best hamburger in Simpsonville.... Wife and I enjoyed the $5 salad bar today... Very good deal... Enjoyed a free Birthday cheeseburger today... Now I can't wait till next year... Tried the $5 Chicago Steak Burger... Pretty good burger.. Try the $5 Tuesday special sometime.. Join their Email club and receive free appetizer and free cheeseburger on your birthday.. When you join their e-mail club you get specials like BOGO on entrees...today I had the small sirloin and the wife had the salmon... We always fast and courteous service Check out their $5 lunch specials on Tuesdays... They gave 4 or 5 items which they rotate weekly.

The service was good. The salad bar was pretty good. But the steaks came out salty. I saw my wife scraping her steak, hers was too salty to even eat the way it was so I traded with her since I liked a little more salt on my steak and it was still extra salty after being scraped. The other two our party ordered we're salty but edible.

Great salad bar and the chicken fresco was good and a nice portion. The restaurant was clean, but the booth was terribly small and cramped. None of us were overly large, but my knees banged into the bar underneath due to the lack of room. Our original waiter was very rude and unpleasant when asked about moving and again when I was walking to the salad bar. He needs to be retrained or let go so he can find another job outside of the service industry. The lady that took over for him was a much better server and a nice person and made our experience much more pleasant.

I cannot stress how important customer service is to me. A friend had received a coupon for$50 after having an horrible experience at RT. I'll just say it involved a screaming match between staff members and poorly prepared food. During today's meal, service was again slow and the food was not prepared correctly. Still not a deal breaker for me. Here's when it became game over. My friend was told at the time he received the voucher that the only thing not included was alcohol. At the end of today's meal he was charged for 2 sweet teas $5. The manager refused to cover the cost. I hope losing a minimum of 3 customers was worth the $5 as we all said we would never go back
