Outback Steakhouse

Our waitress made many many mistakes last Sunday (10/22/23). We had a party of 8 so it should've been a fairly easy table. Forgotten drinks, wrong drinks, food orders were wrong, some of our food was cold.... When she later brought out the correct food, it was all cold as well. To top it off, everyone in our parties steaks were undercooked. Mooooooooo...... If you're ordering a steak here, go one or two above what you normally prefer. Example: if you like medium rare, better order a medium!

I bought curbside takeaway. Most importantly, the food was great. We don't often eat steak, but both of us wolfed down a 12oz ribeye each. They were delicious. The onion soup tasted good, but didn't look that way. The takeout packaging did not help. The atmosphere - now that's a different story. I'm a caregiver full time, around-the-clock, seldom leave the house for longer than an hour or two. I haven't been in a restaurant since 2020. So, since I went to pick up the food instead of delivery, it was delightful to see the inside of a restaurant again. I asked about my to-go order. The hostess pointed me back out the door, onto the dirty sidewalk, and told me to wait outside. By a sketchy looking side door. You know, the kind of door you see at restaurants where they take the trash out. Yes, it was technically in front, but it wasn't a welcoming door. Of course there was no indoor waiting (even McDonald's has that), so we stood (not seated) outside in the weather, around what looks like the back door where the dumpsters go. Honestly, that's what the takeaway door is like. I got good food, yes, and I got it fast. But getting it felt just a wee bit demoralizing.

I love coming here with my family. The service, food, and drinks is never a let down. We are regulars. I love seeing people who genuinely care about their regulars. Every time we come we like having conversations with the managers since we know them all very well. Christina is our favorite and we also, love Walter and Michael!

I come to this location all the time and will continue to. It was my mother's birthday today. No wait thankfully and plenty of parking. We ordered a bloomin onion to start as usual and it was so delicious. Our server was super sweet and had the staff sing for my mother with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service is always great for us here and we have been to many locations.

Ok let me start at the beginning. We arrive and the guy is cleaning up a messy area that looked horrible considering they open at 11 and we arrived at noon. The cleaning man then comes to take our order. Igor was very nice, a little flat and dry like my steak, but we enjoyed him. My niece ordered a burger, my other niece got the shrimp, which she enjoyed. I got a steak that was supposed to be medium well but was dryer than my grandmother's front! I had to baptize the paper steak in steak sauce to make it palatable. I also got the blooming onion because Grace on Will and Grace got one, which sounded amazing so I Google searched for the best blooming onion in my area and Outback came up as number one. It was delicious and a good portion. Overall, I had a great time and would return.
