Kabob N Karahi

This is a must stop if ever in The DC area. The Chaat samaose has always been a favorite savory& satisfying quick bite anytime of night. The Chicken Tikka is masterfully prepared. And if you are hunry and do to want to wait (each dish prepared fresh ) order from the buffet to get the prepped food served to you instantly ready to go .

My son suggested Kabob N Karahi for quite some time, and I foolishly resisted. Finally, I gave in -- and I could kick myself for waiting so long. He picked up the order so I cannot comment on the actual restaurant or the service. But I can speak to the food. IT WAS EXCELLENT!! The portions were decent, and each dish was well seasoned, and just delicious -- everything from the chickpeas to the chicken karahi was excellent. This initial experience has me looking forward to our next visit -- I will try something different to respond to the adventurous side of my palate!

Food is great,but sometimes you might have a bad experience like the other day the food was old and samosa was old enough to smell bad and leave a bad taste in the mouth. I guess its a slow day thing that they dont control the time when things need to be trashed. owners need to step up the quality control before they make someone enough sick to be hospitalized. In last 5 years i only had 3 bad experiences so its safe to say 99% chance your experience will be good. The food is generally amazing but I want the owners to realize that sometime they also screw up, no one is perfect and should take action so that it happens less.

One of the best Pakistani food in the area, Freshly prepared to order spice level to your taste. Quantity is enough actually we took some home for next day lunch and even it tasted good after heating up. Bread is great fresh out of oven reminds me of back home .Will highly recommend this place for dining in take away and catering.

We love their seekh kabob karahi. However, at a $27.99 price point, they need to have better take out containers. The bag never fell over in my car, probably leaked while I was turning. It's an oily mess and leaked in my car which I need to clean now after a long day of work. Don't get me wrong, the food is great, but I hope this makes the owners more considerate for the takeout customers and invest in something better than a cardboard top.

Food is well seasoned, good portions, rotating dishes on different days as well. Definitely recommend the chicken karahi. Chicken briyani was very flavorful. The Lahore fish fry was underwhelming though, though probably because it's a different interpretation from what I've had before. Try to order ahead of time. It normally takes 20 to 30 mins to get your food since it's cooked to order
