Spice Lounge

I hadn't been for a couple of years and because it was recommended by friends I thought I'd give it a go. Excellent decision. Warm and friendly greeting, pleasant aroma and unobtrusive music. Good start. The menu is varied but not ridiculous like some places. I tried a new dish which for £11 including rice was very good value and tasty. I was assured the chicken tikka masala was excellent. Well worth a visit. Thanks to the team at Spice Lounge.

I have lived in the area for about 9months and have walked past this Indian lots of times and never really noticed it. Last Thursday, approx 7pm, my fiancée and I fancied going for a curry and decided to test this place out. First impressions weren’t amazing; it doesn’t look that great from the front, there was only one other couple in there and the wine list is laminated (I hate this!!!)...but.....the service was spot on, the atmosphere was fun with quiet 80’s music in the background, and the food was amazing; really good, I can’t rate it highly enough, and it was very reasonably priced. Such an enjoyable evening.....we will be back. The sort of place you can just pop out for a quick curry, any night of the week!
