Their breakfast was good and reasonable but they have since gone out of business. To bad.

The staff here are super friendly. If you're looking for hometown cooking this is the place. The food is great with generous portion sizes! My only complaint is the sodas served come out of the bottle, not a fountain drink, so your soft drink will probably be flat when you get it. Cash only for tips.

My highest commendation to the dedicated team at this small cafe. One day post-Irma, two days without power county-wide, they open their doors on generator power to feed the community - and feed them remarkably well - in sweltering kitchen heat. Yes, they are making money, cash only, but that is not what this about. They opened under these conditions to help. Thank you, folks, from a Lower Keys refugee who likely doesn't have a home to return to. You've given me what I need to face the coming days.
