I caught a drag show and finished a book at Barça. The bartender happily filled my ice waters and let me enjoy myself. I will definitely be back.

Barca is one of the go to places for many people in Cap Hill. It's kind of in the middle of everything, a wide radius of blocks surrounded by other bars and restaurants. It can be your first stop or your last of the night, or any in between. During the weekends when it gets busy, they open an upstairs bar. It's got a lot of seating and plenty of room for people to come and go. Drinks are very well priced here and they have a good happy hour set of prices too.

I have no idea who this place serves today, but back in the day this was one of the bottlenecks of confluence. Many many plans were hatched here. Sordid details of events past recounted and recanted here. Hookups and breakups. Demise, Decay, and Decadence have all stained the occulant walls. Don't let the Rusty Jagged Metal garbage can in the men's room give you tetanus. Legends we're born, grew up, had children of their own, retired, and road off into the sunset here. Seriously... Legends.

I like this bar because they play some good music, the drinks are decent and the places is big with 2 floors. You can reserve the upstairs part.

One of my all time favorite places on the hill to meet up with friends for conversion in the evenings. Great ambiance and a decent selection of beer.

So much fun. A unique atmosphere, great place to see drag shows during the week! The people behind the bar though could be a little nicer.

Great bar. Small outdoor seating area is awesome in the summer. $10 wine bottles and live jazz add to the draw.

Kind of grimy but a cool spot. Had late night drinks and some live music. Bar tender was great!
