Coffee Tree

8/9/2022 I stopped in for a Frappe to take out. Good Frappe Went in next week for paper and Frappe. Worker slaps his arm -elbow to hand- on the paper I was going to pay for. I had said I wanted to pay for it and then he smacked his arm down and said something accusing me of racism again and I backed up and got away from the counter and him. I replied a hiree of Coffee Tree told me to go to Polyclinic. It scared me. No man tells a customer to go to a clinic and especially assigning that to a woman he doesn't know. Weird. I left the paper and without ordering the Frappe. I won't go back. Too weird. 7/19/2022 I gave time for atmosphere to get better. I decided as I am an old 'Seattleite' that it is not an atmosphere where I am comfortable. So, given I need from time to time to stop at a breakfast bar or other, I would go then and order and take it out. I would not stay to eat etc. Signed: Mrs. Christina A. I am Caucasian. We are a minority race in King County. Also, one staff person told me to go to Polyclinic. What is that? I did not ask for doctor care. I was only there for coffee and snack to go. I am so lucky to have this shop in my neighborhood. Their sandwiches are fresh-made and SO delicious, and the cold brew is delicious. I always get mine with some oat milk, and I appreciate that they give me a little carafe to pour in the right amount myself. I’ll also come hang out and work remote from the cafe, and it’s such a cozy environment. The music is good and the staff is kind :)

Efficient service. An array of coffee, pastries, sandwiches and beverages. Pleasant environment. Seating choices include a bar facing the outside walkway, a lounge area, tables and chairs and also outside seating. Very close to Polyclinic, about 1/2 mile West of Swedish. Virginia Mason and Harbor View are within walking distance as well.

It’s a cute little coffee and sandwich shop around the corner by the library. I had their cappuccino and it’s not bad. Although the price is a big steep for a small coffee shop imo but quality is not bad. Would come back to sit by the window counter and people watch with a coffee in my hand. The entrance is connected to the poly clinic also one on the opposite side. There isn’t quite parking spot so recommend walking. There are multiple areas for you to sit down for dine in. Although not recommended for large group dine in as there’s only about 3-4 tables. They have soy and oat milk options!! For milk substitute!!

This is NOT the place for a cheap, quick cup of coffee; I came in randomly, and was surprised by the cost of my late, but what really surprised me was the very fine, exceedingly mellow taste and absolutely fantastic, rich cream steamed to frothy perfection. It's not that I was expecting bad coffee (I go to Starbucks for that), but this cafe spares no expenses on ingredients are the batistas are extremely skilled as well as being charming and comley. Do not hesitate to get your caffeine fix here, it is amongst the finest in Seattle
