I’ve heard about this place for awhile and finally went in recently. Great vibe, food and staff. It opens early enough and can be a popular place per the breakfast and lunch rush. Ample seating both indoor and out. Excellent bread and food with many options to choose from. Coffee is cafe vita which I love! I had a very nice experience but wish there was wifi.

Charming local bakery that's been around since I went to school nearby! Was happy to see the same patio bench and some similar decorations from years prior. The daily vegetable lentil soup was very tasty and the bacon leek quiche was solid. Rooster's comb danish is superb and highly recommend that. Otherwise would next time try one of their bagels 🥯

stopped in here for a bagel — which is hard to find in seattle. anyway, much better bagels than blazing bagels which gets all the hype. the service was friendly and fast, there is currently no inside seating (which is fine), but the baked goods all looked pretty tasty to go.
coffee is caffe vita, not great but OK.
i had the sesame bagel with cream cheese and the thing was beautiful (see photo).
i’m not a huge dead head, but i appreciate the pun and would probably go back here. very accessible (with parking) and unpretentious.

They have the best, fresh baked bread of anyone in the Seattle area. Their quiche, sandwiches, and pastries are also delicious.
Service is efficient.

Fantastic local bakery. Cinnamon roles have wonderful lamination and are some of the best I’ve ever had. There can be some variability, I think due to who is baking that day, but never had a bad baked good. Organic ingredients, day olds and reasonable prices means it’s a local gem.

We get our weekly challah here and it's always a treat to sit in the front room and treat myself to brunch!

A good spot to window watch from the lobby, with lots of natural light for reading. I really liked this lil coffee nook, and enjoyed my breve latte in quiet peace.

Yum! Their cookies are extremely large, great selection of pastries. My Mom likes it MUCH better than the bakery a few blocks away, so do I. Their espresso is very good, too. They are a lot more accommodating with support animals, than other places.

Being honest, I think the bagel isn't anything to write home about. It's better than a grocery store bagel, sure, but there's a dozen shops in Seattle that do a better bagel. Great garlic and herb schmear, though.
I give this a five star because it's easily the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The dough is croissant-like in a perfect way, with an icing that's rich and not as sweet as it looks at a glance. Truly outstanding stuff.

Best bagels in Seattle! I tried a dozen bagel places when I moved to Seattle and these are by far the best taste, variety of flavor options, and price. The bagels are soft and have a good chew.
There is usually a line when we go in on the weekends, but it moves quickly. They have lots of pastries, breads, and sandwich options too!

This place rocks. Has the classic Seattle feel that seems harder to find these days. I have a thing for toasted garlic bagels, and haven't found anywhere else that has a legit garlic bagel, like they have here. Its absolutely delicious.
The mochas here are also great. They have a wonderful flavor.
There are also a bunch of other menu items I have yet to try. Sandwiches and a variety of pastries.
The service here has always been friendly, and they have never been understaffed, in my experiences.
I would recommend stopping in for coffee and something to eat or snack on. It seems like they have something for almost anyone.
Only thing I caution is the parking. My lowered vehicle has issues getting into the lot, and street parking is sometimes not possible to find.

Just what we wanted for a small lunch before our visit to the iconic Wedgewood Rock. Salmon spread on a Poppyseed Bagel and Lentil soup with a nice sample of their delicious bread. Although it is Teabag Tea, the ginger turmeric was pungent with actual bits of root instead of the usual powders.

Good sandwiches, good Ethiopian bread, the standard white loaf we got was pretty dry, tomato basil soup was not for me. The service was friendly and lots of options to choose from.

Very friendly staffs. Good sandwiches and soup. Parking space limited though
Most recent visit: April 2018. Very good bread. Broccoli cheddar soup was ok.
