This is one of those places I'm very happy survived the pandemic. I had the teriyaki chicken and gyoza Benton box. It came with California Roll. Great tastes and good portions. (I was hungry so I also picked up 2 pieces of both crab and tiger prawn nigiri; yum). Green tea was very pleasant. (So was the green tea creme brulee). The staff is friendly. A quick walk to/from pier 55 and Argosy Cruises.

Got a table for 8 at 530 on a weekday by walking in. Dumplings are not to be missed. Very good! Liked the first ave roll. Japanese curry also was good. Decently priced. Plenty of options for non sushi fans as well. Restrooms are down the hall and clean.

Costs about as much as you would expect from downtown Seattle, rolls were delicious. We ordered Pier 56, flaming fire, and chief combo b. Sushi is always a good idea in Seattle 🤤

This place is awesome. The decor and ambiance were on point. Cozy and modern, the wait staff were great, friendly and attentive. The food was great. I would have had a picture of the sashimi app but I practically inhaled it. The fish was so good. I barely got a picture of the platter of sushi we ordered. Definitely a place worth going.

Great little sushi bar with incredible outdoor seating. Lovely vibe inside with chill music, great service and wonderfully fresh and well priced sushi. The happy hour menu is huge with tons to choose from at a great discount. Late night happy hour too! We love all the rolls, their stir fry noodles, the curry, the soups, etc. you can’t go wrong!

If you really love the taste of raw sea food, this is the place to go. I recommend getting the chef specials/chefs choice. I did not have any rolls but got the 32 piece sashimi and a couple more pieces after that. Some of the best or maybe even best cuts I've had. They have really nice soy sauce and the wasabi is real wasabi. We sat at the sushi bar and got to ask everything we wanted about the fish. Really excellent service, cucumber water is great, and the presentation of the restaurant and food is great.

Third time here and love it everytime. Food is amazing, staff is very friendly. Parking is a little pain in that area. Outside seating is available. It is my favorite sushi place. Tempuras are the best. The menu is extensive. Cocktails are good bit mostly peachy.

We walked in at a short notice and luckily they had a table . It’s a small place and we read good reviews about their sushi’s before we decided to explore. The host was nice and seated us quickly . The waitress came in for the Order about 5 Mins later and we were all set to place the order for food and Drinks. The drinks came in quickly however the food took a while . The shrimp tempura arrived first , we enjoyed it. It was good and I wouldn’t call it exceptional , I have a certain set expectations from the tempura and the primary requirement is the crunchiness :) . Then the rolls landed a while later which was first avenue rolls . We waited for our Japanese curry and yakisoba for about 15 Mins while the rolls was polished off by the kids. The waitress apologized for the delay and came with the curry rice . It tasted good and was something I haven’t tasted before and we liked it. The yakisoba still had no sign and it landed while we were half way through the curry and rice . It was smelling bad and tasted weird so after tasting a fork each we gave up . We asked for a check and told the waitress the odd feeling about the yakisoba. She was quick to take it back and also didn’t bill us for the dish. We didn’t expect that and were impressed as we weren’t expecting a refund. If you are a sushi lover then I would say it’s a nice place but I would not try anything else the next time. Also the place has poor ventilation so it was all smoky inside and they had to constantly leave the door open to let the smoke go away and hence if you are someone who feels cold don’t opt for the table in the entrance as the opened doors can make you feel cold. Otherwise simply enjoy the experience

The chefs choice of sushi was pretty average for the price, quantity was reasonable quality was mediocre. The hot and cold plates were quite good though, they had delicious clams and tofu
