Wendy's

Haven't been to a Wendy's on over 20 years. Was pleasantly surprised at the pretzel bun burger... Very good! Fries were good, not McDonald's good... But good. The dude behind the counter was a total grump. A bit snippy and short with customers. Nonetheless, I don't do fast food much these days... But the burger was good! 😊

Ordered the $5.00 biggie bag as take out . The chicken sandwich I asked for was more than warm , but not hot . The 4 chicken nuggets were tasty and hot , as though just prepared in the deep fryer . The French fries 🍟 were plentiful and also just out of the oil . The self serve soda fountain had a large choice of drinks, and ice wasn't needed to chill it down 👍👍👍👍 . The counter person was friendly , easily understood , and very helpful at the time I was ordering my meal . She asked if it was to go or to stay ( nice ) - very professional . I was asked if I would like to donate to the Dave Thomas charity - I declined as I had done so at another store . All in all - a nice experience. 👌

Stopped in for a quick bite and picked up a 4 for $4 deal. I got my favorite small burger, a junior bacon cheese burger, with a small side of fries and chicken nuggets with a drink. You can't go wrong with this combo, which is bacon, lettuce, tomato on a small cheese burger with 2 sides. The meal was good and the drive thru service was great. Perhaps, as a future upgrade, Wendy's might consider making the same sandwich with a larger size burger.

Shout out for excellent customer service for manager and workers on -afternoon shift on 5/22/22 (after 3:30 pm). I went to the Wendy’s on Sunrise Highway in Seaford NY to buy a party pack of chicken nuggets for my adult disabled brother. It’s pretty much the only food he will eat. After realizing I forgot my wallet, I figured I would use Apple Pay. After I got to window they said Wendy’s doesn’t do Apple Pay. Since I had no money - I told them I had to cancel order and the manager authorized the cashier to give to me for free. When I told them who the meal was for and that my sisters usually drive in to pick up the weekly nuggets… the cashier said “oh I know you you mean”. It was a very nice gesture by the manager and cashier!!!! Thank you!!!

2 stars because at the end of the day it's still Wendy's food but the staff at this Wendy's is always so happy and so kind that they, without a doubt, get 5 stars because never in my life have I walked into a fast food place where I actually feel welcome. They are always polite, smiling (even behind masks) they treat everyone with respect and are just excellent people

Update!!! They must have new workers bc I have been going here for yrs and lately I've been having alot of issues w my orders. My nuggets came completely burned in the bag!! I I might stop coming here and just go somewhere else for lunch 🤢🤢 ------------- Food is cooked pretty well.. I come here often but the last two visits my 5 for 4 came with only 4 nuggets!!!!!!! I specifically ordered this meal for the extra nuggets because I like to feed it to my dog. Someone here needs training !!!
