Had a bad experience :( I had my food delivered to me , and I payed online and when the guy knocked on the door i figured all i needed to do was grab my food and that was it. I had payed with my card and gave them a tip as well using my card. so i open the door and grab the food and the delivery guy pulls it away. shoved the receipt in my face , and i said i paid on my card . “ he said no no no . “ i was like alright i will get your tip even though i had already tipped him and so i tried closing my door and saying i will be right back and he opened my door and kept saying “ no the money “ i said i paid with my card i will be right back so i grabbed 5 dollars and gave it to him and he was like no trying to get more money out of me . and he read the check again and he said oh and ran away with my money . this guy was one of their workers :( never order from there again

Waiting 2 hours for food with a 24.00 purchase and all the manager that calls back after so long says is that they are busy. Food was delivered after 2 hrs and 40 mins and cold. Receipt with food stating 5:52 pm delivery, 20 mins after it was ordered. They just lost a customer after 17 years.

Great staff good food good garlic sauce great egg drop wonton soup. The only problem I’m having and it’s the 3rd time! I ask for egg drop wonton soup and only get wonton soup. It’s really frustrating

This is the best Chinese food in the area. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and moved to Long Island, NY when I was a teenager so I had a lot of options growing up but there is ALWAYS that ONE Chinese food spot that just hits your soul different. And to be honest I was afraid I wouldn't find one out here. But, China King IS the one out here. I've been going since 2017 when I moved out here but every other place was just meh. The food here is everything. The prices are great, you can order online, and depending on the time of day, delivery is lightening speed. But, honestly I don't mind coming in. The young looking woman that works the front is kind and pleasant to talk to and will hold and conversation with you unlike a lot of other restaurants.

UPDATE 4/16/22
This was my favorite Chinese food in Scranton.
Last two times i ordered food from China King have been pretty bad. Food doesn't taste the same (from 8 months ago) and whoever is taking the orders is rude.
I think I'm going to give my money to someone else from now on.

Got food here today and the woman was very rude. After I paid she didn't have any gratitude whatsoever. Didn't even bother to say "thank you" , or "have a great weekend". Simply took my money and walked away without saying a word. Hey word of advice.....be nice to your customers and they might come back to support you. I obviously wont be back.

I did an Online order at 4:15pm and it said my delivery would be here around 5:03pm. At 5:20pm still no delivery. I called and the lady said she'll have the manager call me back to keep my line open. At 6pm, no call back so I called again. She then told me she couldnt find my address and all of a sudden. My order came through. I told her I'd be picking up how long and was told 10-15mins. I ho there and the sametime the guy is at my house delivering my food..Then except a tip?? I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.
