We finally tried this place after seeing it in the mall for a couple of years. We can't believe we wasted so much time on the other options. The food was fabulous. Appetizer and beer are on sale during the football season. I had the veggie burger and I was extremely satisfied with it. Everyone else loved their food. Kids get free ice cream sundae with their meal. The server was friendly and responded to our requests quickly. If you are around, this is definitely a must if you enjoy good food.

It’s a Gem in the Woodfield mall.
Nice a cozy atmosphere. Food portions are huge I mean huge.
Delicious meets with nothing close to standard seasoning and sauces.
Our waiter has been attentive and fast.
Great place for a meeting or a date or just a cold one with friends...

This place was able to accommodate both a gluten and dairy allergy. the Brisket sandwich was excellent. The children's portion of grilled chicken was a full chicken breast that my 2 and 3 year olds could have split. The prices were moderate but reasonable. The portions were just right. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Update:
It's been a year and although the food was good the service was a bit lacking seeing that we were one of 4 tables and the servers and bartender were more focused on doing shots than assisting our table. It took 10 minutes for our server to come back over to me so that I could tell her that my order was incorrect. The fixed it quickly after that.

Nothing special. Service was mediocre, food was good. Definitely did not need to make a reservation when we went on a Sunday for lunch.

This place was a pleasant surprise, everything about our experience was great. We had dinner there with our 2 kids ages 2 and 4 - not always an easy endeavor. Every member of staff went out of their way to be nice to the kids and to make his recommendations. Gave kids fun tablets to play with during meal, had ice cream sundaes for them that they got to make themselves at sundae bar, all seemed genuinely nice and wanted to help. Not just kids were happy tho- good beers and food too. Nick our server was great, will definitely go back.

First the menu shown on Google maps is incorrect, but that is not the basis of this review. I visited on a Tuesday evening and they were not busy. I was seated immediately. I ordered the ribs and chicken. Unfortunately the ribs were over sauced and very salty (and I like salt). The chicken was dry. The cornbread was good. I'm not sure what my waitress had going on, but it didn't involve servicing my table or even walking by. I had to ask the gentleman that brought my food for more water, and later he came by to clear the table and had to ask him for the check. Too bad, other reviewers had a better experience, but for me they struck out on both food and service.
