Huddle House

On the way back home from Savannah we stopped in the Huddle House to eat breakfast. We sat at the bar and Lisa waited on us, what a waitress, amazing! Berty and his staff were absolutely wonderful and the food was very good! here's where it went down hill for my wife and I, we got an hour an half down the road and my wife realized she lost an envelope with cash inside over $400.00, my wife was so upset at herself. We called The Huddle House and spoke with Maggie, she had just come on shift, I ask her if we had dropped an envelope with cash inside, she asked Lisa and she said she found it after we left on the floor. I asked Maggie if they would keep $100.00 and send us the rest, she wrote my address down, This was on Sunday, the following Tuesday we received and envelope with all the cash that was lost in it, they didn't keep any of it, Lisa went as far as to write us a small note inside with the money that was very sweet. This is a top notch staff and a group of honest people. I wish everyone could be like Lisa, Maggie, Berty, and the rest of the staff! Thank you all again for reminding us that awesome people do exist!

We waited and waited at Cracker Barrel nearby and the service was horrible. No greeting, others were seated before us. So we left, decided the stop by the Huddle House. The best decision ever. The staff welcomed us like family. The service was all around amazing. It's Huddle House for now on for us. Cracker Barrel is over rated.

So...stop here to have quick bite before get on the road.... Literally we waited about 1hr to get the food!!!!!!!! I mean food was good. But that's about it. And at the register I could see kitchen areas where they cook. Omg those opened bag breads were all over the bottom of cook tops. And they weren't aware of anything that it could be contaminate being opened. Well...I know for sure I won't go back there. May be other location...

If I could give this place NO STARS I WOULD! The one star is for the SERVERS! My service was excellent but the food looked like it had been rushed and not cooked all the way through, the cook my lord THE COOK was HORRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL, and will DEFINITELY RUN OFF BUSINESS! I felt so sorry for those girls who have to put up with his attitude! And the manager does absolutely NOTHING as this man talks to these women the way he does! Until he’s gone I don’t see myself returning to this place but have fun.

I have made a lot of reviews and ate in thousands of restaurants and this is by far the worst NASTY, RUDE, HORRIBLE FOOD there is not one thing I can say good about this place we paid $68.00 for a salad a burger and fries and waffle and bacon and the smell was so rotten when the sat the plates on the table not sure what it was coming from that we didn’t eat anything I couldn’t even walk into the restroom just opening the door made me sick 🤕 please beware don’t even take a chance on this place if your traveling like I was keep driving…. and to the Health Department please shut this place down before someone dies
