Good quality food. Each restaurant by Chef Hamm is a true delicacy to Sanford. Outdoor patio seating only; you order inside and they bring it out to you. However, the prices do NOT reflect that it’s a take-out only restaurant where you’re using packaged plastic cutlery to eat off plastic containers or the size of the dishes.

Hands down the best place (and my favorite place) to eat in Sanford and the nearby area. The menu is unique, on the healthier side, and you can also buy various grocery and bakery goods to take home. The seating area outside is lovely for dining and relaxing while soaking in downtown. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food and service are always excellent. Keep in mind that they do close pretty early (2pm), so plan on coming for breakfast/brunch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was excited to try this place as everything on the menu looked delicious. This place has been voted best brunch in town year after year so I had to try it. I was surprised when I got there to learn that the dining was outdoor only. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day and I didn’t mind. You place your order inside before finding a seat, which can be tricky as I had my one year old with me and the only seats available were in direct sunlight on a hot day. The food is served in plastic take out containers and the presentation looked less than appetizing. There are no options for kids and for almost $40 the food should have looked more appetizing. Our bacon was burned and the eggs were tasteless even with cheddar cheese. The worst part was the “stuffed French toast” which I wouldn’t call stuffed. It was two slices of French toast with about an inch of cold cream cheese in between. I ended up scraping most of the cream cheese out. I found myself wondering what chef would put something like this on the menu and who are the people that voted this place best brunch in town year after year? The best thing I had during my visit was the cantaloupe in the fruit salad and I’m typically not a fan of cantaloupe.

I have a severe sensitivity to gluten and Cafe 121 was the first place I found when I was diagnosed 5 years ago. I have been coming for years despite having moved away. I love the food and the freedom of the choices available here. The service is also amazing and the staff are easily some of the friendliest of any place I’ve been to.

Love this place. The menu is so diverse that it’s hard to know what to get. Brunch or burgers or salads or … I have a hard time deciding. But they also have take and heat items. Definitely get the jalapimento cheese. And tortilla chips. Both are the best I’ve had. The other dinner items to take home are delicious. I end up spending a lot of money here, because I can’t decide what to get. So I have food for a week.

This is an event center! IT IS NOT AN EAT-IN RESTAURANT. I ordered CHICKEN FIRST dish. The gravy was so salty I could barely eat it. The potatoes were burnt and hard. My spouse had the Breakfast Burrito. The steak had a strange flavor and was nothing special. The person taking my order had zero personality. It was 40 degrees outside and no dining inside, even though they offer DINE IN, TAKE OUT, AND DELIVERY. I cannot believe people are still giving this place business. The 'event center' is not spectacular, either. So, it doesn't make sense that they are not making use of the space. If the food was sensational, I might be okay sitting outside in 40-degree weather. Since it's not, I won't be back.
