Panhandler Pies

The service was good, and the decor fit nicely. The music selections seemed a bit out of step and too loud. The food needs some help (sorry). The cheese on my scramble wasn't melted and the components seemed to be cooked separately and then thrown together. My wife's dish was bland, with a grey looking sausage patty from a grocery store freezer section. It all seemed dry and either over or undercooked. No garnishes or presentation made. I write this knowing you can do better, and hope the best for the business in the future.

We just heard that Panhandler Pies is closing. Full disclosure I worked at PP in the 90's and it was a great place to work selling honest food. Rex has been such a blessing to the community and will be greatly missed. Thank you Panhandler Pies for all the memories! On a personal note, Rex, you earned some rest and good luck to you!!

What's delight, my wife and I stopped in on Saturday and had lunch, we enjoyed it so much we decided to go back on Monday (13 September, my birthday), we ordered Fish & Chips and pie for my birthday. The waitress told me since it was my birthday my meal was free!! Not only my meal but also my pie. Everything was extraordinary, (we couldn't eat all the fries, so Pam our waitress told us the best way to reheat them). Service 5 Star, Food 5 Star along with the atmosphere, best of all folks it has some of the cleanest rest rooms I've been in. I'm a retired Executive Housekeeper and I was impressed!! Thanks for the Experience.

Stopped in for lunch on a rainy day. Our waitress did a great job helping to get food quickly to my family. Chose mostly breakfasts items and a PB&J for one of the kiddos. Dang those fries were perfect! Eggs were light and fluffy. Mostly comfort food on the menu with some healthier choices blended in.
