I came here with friends to celebrate my birthday, and everything was splendid. Sam was willing to answer to all my questions regarding the event prior to the dinner and reassured everything would be in place. Our waiter Dean had so much energy and walked us through every detail of options, suggestions for the meals and drinks! The service was very warm, and so was the back patio with cozy Christmas lights. Food and wine as recommended by Dean were scrumptious, and all my friends thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it! Everything is freshly made, and the restaurant takes the utmost care to ensure so. This restaurant has so much history and well-deserved rating (Dean had told us this place was highly reviewed alongside with the French Laundry just about three years since its opening). I look forward to making more memories and relishing amazing dishes in the future. Thank you for the amazing team for making my birthday dinner so memorable and heartfelt!

Came here to celebrate my 6-Year wedding anniversary with my wife. We had such a great time. Service was amazing, and the food was even more so. The menu was fantastic. The chef truly spent his time with it. Will definitely be coming back. The host was nice enough to provide my wife and I a couple of celebratory shots for our anniversary as well.

This is my old time favorite dating spot for a very long time. They changed the ownership and the atmosphere still good. However, food quality wasn’t as good as before. Mussels and squid are so tiny. They used to have very good quality of seafood. Steak is average and greasy. Seafood pasta was little be salty but taste fine. Hope to see some improvement next time.

I loved the vibe of this place. Don't skip it based on its small entrance. They have a large seating area at the back with nice outdoor lights and heating. I came here for my office team dinner. It was a big party of 20. Our server "Dean" was a gem. He gave us a star intro of the place and took care of all our specific dietary restrictions. The chef here makes everything fresh on order. For starters we ordered multiple servings of everything. Being vegetarian I loved their creamy goat cheese with smoked bread. Others very much enjoyed their scallops and all sea food items. They tasted extremely fresh and flavorful. In the main course I tried the Spaghetti. The flavors of tomato sauce and garlic with el-dante spaghetti made this dish great. They have limited vegetarian options, I would go back to this place in a party of more than 4 people where there is a mix of diet so I get multiple options at the table.

I went to Isa for SF Restaurant week. They had a 4 course set menu. First, let's talk about the place and the ambiance. The restaurant is in a nice neighborhood, so you can walk around and find some good restaurants and boutique stores close by. Parking can be tough. They have two indoor dining areas- one in the front and one in the back. The front dining area has a very minimalistic look, and it has a darker setting with dim lights. As you walk towards the back seating area, you are greeted by a lush display of indoor vines that climb up the walls and hang from the ceiling, giving the space a vibrant and organic feel. The lighting is warm and ambient, with a combination of pendant lamps and hanging bulbs that cast a soft glow throughout the room. Now let's talk about the food. My friend and I ordered all these dishes - First course- 1. Main lobster broth 2. Potato and leak soup Second course- 1. Yellowfin tuna 2. Salmon carpaccio Third course- 1. Maple leaf duck breast 2. Hanger steak Fourth course- 1. Amaretto 2. Creme brulee Both the items from course 1 were pretty good. They were served somewhat lukewarm. Both yellowfin tuna and salmon carpaccio were served with grilled bread. Yellowfin tuna had mild flavoring, so the grilled bread didn't help. Of the two, salmon carpaccio was more flavorful because of cucumbers and capers. Hanger steak, in my opinion, was more juicy and flavorful than the duck breast. Menu mentioned that duck breast has bacon in it as well, so I was excited about that only to find a few tiny pieces of bacon in the small salad portion that comes with the dish. Creme brulee was really good but amaretto was very disappointing. The service was great. Nice staff. I think it's a bit on the pricey end. I was hoping for a little bit more quality food than what we got. Overall, it was a good experience.

A wonderful French cuisine restaurant serving wonderful food. I had a great experience trying out some interesting twists on some classic dishes. The staff here is so knowledgeable and make great suggestions. I recommend the butterfish. Food I came here with my coworkers for a company dinner and we were all impressed with the food and liked it. Our waiter told us that one of the things that they incorporate into all their dishes is that nothing is deep fried, such as the calamari. For appetizers we got for the table some oysters, tartare, and grilled calamari. I really enjoyed the oysters as they were fresh. The grilled calamari was my next favorite. As my main, I got the butterfish that was wrapped in a crisp crust per the staffs recommendation. The fish was so soft and tender and cooked to perfection. Crème brulee was also sooooo good. Atmosphere There are tables in the back of the restaurant that are enclosed from the outside and have space heaters. Unfortunately our tables heater was broken so it was pretty cold. I love the greenery though. Noise level was alright inside this space until we had a group of rowdy drunk people just starting yelling and laughing uncontrollably. Looked like they were celebrating something big. Pricing Reasonable pricing for the French style cuisine served. It is on the pricier side though. Overall, the price for quality and level of service was worth it. Service The service was excellent. The staff are all long standing veterans at the establishment and know the menu inside out and have great recommendations. Food came out promptly and in order. Other There are a lot of other restaurants in the area so make sure to look out for the sign. No parking really in the area.

With so many places to eat in San Francisco, I have to say this was one of my favorites. The food was really good, ambiance was on fleek, granted we were the last party to arrive at 9:45pm, and service was impeccable (thank you Priscilla). We had anyone and everyone waiting on us. Never had a dirty plate on the table or an empty glass. The manager even came by to say hello and check in on us. This is what we ordered, and ALL was delicious and generous in size. Shockingly the bill was just $160 pre tip. Corkage is included in that total and was only $26 per bottle. We walked from our condo so didn’t experience parking issues, but looking at the surroundings, parking can be tight. Take an uber!
