Jitterbug Diner

A great little retro diner! We were looking for a meal at the end of a long day on the road and were so lucky to come across this place. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was surprisingly good. The burgers were delicious and the milkshakes were even better. According to our server they had only recently opened and considering that I think they are doing really well. If ever I come over from Australia again I'd love to revisit this place!

And suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, it's 1962 again. Wow. Last year this was an empty building, now it's a very cool retro diner. Ok, all that aside, the food is great. It stands on it's own. The burgers aren't sloppy here and the onion rings are crisp and delicious. Good sized portions and very reasonable prices. The service is good too. A friendly, family run business. 5 stars. Well done people.

Stopped in just to check the place out but decided to stay and eat. Walking into this small diner in the middle of the desert was like taking a time machine back to the 50's and 60's...even the staff wore vintage outfits. The diner was spotless and the service was friendly and fast. The food was great...some of the best fresh cut fries I've had lately. Will definitely be stopping there next time I'm passing through Vidal.

ATTENTION ALL TRUCKERS/TRAVELERS! If you're ever in Vidal, California, you must stop and eat at "JITTERBUG DINER"! It's 49 Miles south of Needles off the I-40 on CA-95. The Diner is right next to the CHEVRON STATION & across the California Agriculture Inspection Station. Jitterbug Diner opened up for business last November and the place relates to back in the 50's style hamburger joint. The Decor is of the 50's from the Dining Counter, to the high chairs and tables along with a lot of Memories, Souvenirs and good Food. The waitresses are friendly and attentive in every detail. Breakfast is delicious and Well portioned, the Restrooms are Clean and Spotless. Their burgers are AWESOME along with their Ice Cream Shakes. I promise, you'll leave there Full and Satisfied! Their burgers are made like in the 50's. REAL AND MADE FRESH! They along sale Souvenir Shirts, Coffee Cup Sets and lots more. EnjoyI Because I sure did....😀!
