Just moved to town and heard the neighborhood raving about this restaurant and all I can say is "where has this place been all of my life." The food was not amazing but astounding, and the price I was shocked at the portions and the quality for the price. I can also say the staff was simply amazing. If they were open 7 days a week at this time I know I would gain 100 pounds in a month. I know we will be back again and again. Thank you for your wonderful service and delicious food. (note my spouse and her friend also agreed and said do not forget to mention the deserts...)

Was looking for something that was not the same old same old and the Olde Salt fit the bill (thanks Google reviewers for the assist). We arrived on a busy Friday night and were quickly escorted to a back waiting area by the pleasant owner, who then served us drinks from a nice bar list. We were accommodated quickly then with seating in the front area of this interesting historical restaurant. The owner served as the waiter as well as host, and I believe he mentioned that his wife is the chef. Everyone in our party very happy with the fresh and tasty food. I had a beet, goat cheese and Walnut salad with a home made Italian dressing that was terrific. My in laws ordered battered fish and commented it was some of best they've had, and that is saying something. Other patrons were friendly to us, we felt so welcomed. Prices very reasonable. Overall a really great experience. We plan to be back.
