First rating was wrong, it should have been 5 stars all along , food, staff, everything is exceptional, Jim is an amazing chef, vanna is a lovely Baker, your made to feel like family rather than a customer,

First time in here for lunch and it won't be the last. Had soup and a toastie and my son had an omelette. Everything was very tasty and the service was really good and nice and friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

Just been to Avanti restaurant had lasagne for the first time, absolutely gorgeous will definitely be back. Lovely atmosphere and really welcoming staff. Would recommend.

A wee saltcoats gem, charming decor and intimate atmosphere. The coffee is fantastic, will be back for something to eat as they had a good menu with plenty to choose from.

Always a great welcome here, and you don't have to spend much. Wee pastrie and a hot choc is filling.
The lasagne is MAGNIFICENT and worthy of 100 awards.

Superb. Lovely place to eat and really friendly. Try the rhubarb pie and custard which was as good as the one my Mum used to make - and I never thought I would ever say that!

Vanna and Jim are great hosts and always make you feel special.
Suitable for old and young alike.
A real treat with home baking by Vanna and ice cream from a popular local source. Not forgetting the amazing soups Jim creates and his to die for salad dressing.

Been going there since I retired 14 years ago to Saltcoats from Glasgow from my career as a car dealer. Really like the place and go there regularly several times a week.Jim and Vanna, the proprietors, are both gems and their staff are always unfailingly polite and attentive.Smashing place-and terrific coffee..!
