Pho Uy

When we asked for a to go menu to look at, they offered us a seat and a glass of water while we looked, so the staff was extremely nice. The food we ordered (which was Pho Chin) was amazing, for the amount you pay for, even for a small order of Pho, was a lot to eat. The Pho was also packed up correctly for a to go order, which was great! I would definitely be eating here again!

1st timers tonight and will definitely be back! Took my daughter for her Birthday dinner and the fellows working there were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The food was super fresh and delish. We shared shrimp spring rolls. Very fresh and the peanut sauce (to dip) was quite possibly the best I've ever had. I had the Korean rib rice plate. The flavor of the ribs was divine and they were very tender. My daughter had chicken with Jasmine rice and she enjoyed it very much. The Hoisin sauce was quite good. Since it was her birthday, we opted for dessert. So glad that we did! We had the Vietnamese waffles with coconut sauce and they were excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try more on the menu. We love pho and may try that next. The restaurant is very nice, the food was great , the guys working tonight went above and beyond. I only wish I had our waiter's name! So sorry I cannot recall it right now. See you soon! Salisbury is lucky to have you.

Wished there was a zero star option. Came to eat with my girlfriend from CHARLOTTE and wasn't happy at all. We spent about $50 and it was NOT worth it. My girlfriend ordered fresh squeezed lemonade. First The server said she had to check and see if there were any lemons left... Came back saying there were lemons, so my gf ordered it. When the server came back with the drink, it looked like it came out of a countrytime powder mix. And when she had her first sip, she wasn't happy. It did taste like countrytime lemonade. You can tell by the color that it wasn't FRESHLY squeezed. We ordered veggie spring rolls, fried calamari, shrimp summer rolls, and Turkey egg rolls for appetizer. For entree I ordered the jumbo shrimp plate with rice and my girlfriend ordered Korean rib plate with rice. The food did take a while to come out.. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time we went. But anyways the food was lacking A LOT OF FLAVORS! and I know Vietnamese food because I'm VIETNAMESE. My gf said the Korean rib wasn't good and didn't taste like Korean rib. She would know bc she's Korean. The shrimp was supposed to be grilled but tasted really Smokey with no grill marks.... The rice was just plan white rice.. Not even jasmine rice.. The veggies that came with the food wasn't fresh (lettuce, tomato and cucumber) the only thing that was good was the box man (fish sauce) that came with the entree. overall with the service and food, we wouldn't come back here again. Also they have pest problems. A fruit fly flew on my rice.. Hope the owner fixes the issues.

This is the ONLY high quality authentic Asian restaurant that I've been able to find since I moved to the Triad region. Pho Uy boasts a full, genuine, and truly authentic Vietnamese menu (not that corrupted fusion garbage that seems to be littered everywhere). Their prices are incredibly reasonable and I've easily spent ~4 times more at other "pan-Asian" and Vietnamese restaurants that were pathetic by comparison. Yes, it's ~an hour drive away for me but this is the only real pho & bahn mi I can find and IT IS SO WORTH IT. The owners are the sweetest people alive and went out of their way to make sure that I had the best dining experience possible. Their dessert coconut waffles were creative and delicious and I can't wait to go back to try the rest of their menu!!!! Also, they have this quiet lovely lounge in the back with huge windows; great place to relax and read!! Things I can recommend: PHO TAI (soup), VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE, BAHN MI THIT (sandwich), and the COCONUT WAFFLES!! WOWWWW

My family and I recently moved to Salisbury and decided to try out the pho place and I am very disappointed with the outcome. I ordered the #7 pho and my boyfriend ordered the #1 pho. Anyone who knows anything about pho knows it’s all about the broth and is not something easy to achieve. The broth for the vegetarian pho tasted fine but the broth for the #7, it was way too salty. In comparison it tasted straight up like a Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. Another thing is that they didn’t even have a spice rack or chili rack. The reason why this is so important is because everyone has their own preference on how they want their pho to taste, some may want it spicier than other, some may want it sweeter, some may want it fishier etc. I asked the waitress if they had a chili rack and she had to go make sure they had some. I’ve never been to a pho place that had to check to see if they were stocked in something so simple. Veggie plate could’ve been a little better, I prefer to have more than 4 basil leaves, and two jalapeños. The price was pretty outrageous and definitely would not recommend if you want to pay 8.75 on a small bow of pho or almost 14 on a large bowl of pho. I would rather stay home and make myself some maruchan ramen. It was indeed a nice restaurant but my boyfriend noticed a fruit fly flying around him while eating. I hope they can really fix this place up to a TRUE authentic Vietnamese restaurant.

This is a great restraunt to stop at off 85, it’s right off the exit! Had a great meal! The place is very clean! The service was great! Very nice people! The bar has many drink options! My husband and I both got pho soup and it was really good, portion size was great for the price! And the food tasted great! I would definetly come back!
